Abstract

Generally in the industrial with a large production area, the electrical installation scheme for lighting the production area uses a main switch system that is centered on an electric pan. The components that play a role are relays, contactors, and circuit breakers. These components function to turn on and turn off lights with a large enough power load. Then to control the relay / contactor a controller is used. On an industrial scale, the standard controller device that is commonly used is the programable logic controller (PLC). In the market, PLC prices are still quite expensive. Meanwhile, a low-cost controller such as the Arduino is not compatible, meaning that it cannot accommodate PLC features. Therefore, this research focuses on the development of an innovative room lighting system based on Outseal PLC and HMI Android via wireless bluetooth with the Modbus RTU communication protocol. Outseal PLC is used because besides being cheap it also has hardware and software compatibility like a commercial PLC. It is also equipped with a voltage sensor as a reference for the load indicator. From the results of the voltage sensor test, the output voltage is 23.89 volts, this is in accordance with the PLC logic input specification standard, which is 24 volts. In testing the power consumption, in standby condition it consumes a current of 24.9 mA. Then in the ON / OFF test of lamp load via Android HMI with the application of Modbus RTU communication, gained the success rate of 100%. Kata Kunci : PLC, Outseal PLC, Modbus RTU, HMI, bluetooth Umumnya di dunia industri dengan area produksi yang luas, skema instalasi listrik untuk penerangan area produksi menggunakan sistem sakelar utama yang terpusat pada penel listrik. Komponen yang berperan adalah relay, kontaktor, dan circuit breaker. Komponen-komponen ini berfungsi untuk menghidupkan dan memadamkan lampu dengan beban daya yang cukup besar. Kemudian untuk mengontrol relay/kontaktor tersebut digunakan perangkat controller. Pada skala industri, standar perangkat controller yang umum digunakan adalah programable logic controller (PLC). Di pasaran harga PLC masih cukup mahal. Sedangkan controller yang low-cost seperti Arduino tidak kompatibel artinya tidak bisa mengakomodasi fitur-fitur PLC. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini berfokus pengembangan alat inovasi sistem penerangan ruangan berbasis Outseal PLC dan HMI Android via wireless bluetooth dengan protokol komunikasi Modbus RTU. Digunakan Outseal PLC karena selain harganya murah juga memiliki kompatibilitas hardware dan software layaknya PLC komersial. Pada alat ini juga dilengkapi sensor tegangan sebagai referensi indikator beban lampu. Dari hasil pengujian sensor tegangan diperoleh output tegangan 23,89 volt, hal ini sudah sesuai dengan standar spesifikasi input logic PLC yaitu 24 volt. Pada pengujian konsumsi daya alat, dalam kondisi standby alat mengonsumsi arus sebesar 24,9 mA. Kemudian pada pengujian ON/OFF beban lampu melalui HMI Android dengan penerapan komunikasi Modbus RTU diperoleh tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Kata Kunci : PLC, Outseal PLC, Modbus RTU, HMI, bluetooth
