Abstract

Setiap orang yang bekerja tidak hanya mengingkan mendapat pendapatan namun juga menginginkan kebahagiaan saat melakukan pekerjaan, tetapi dengan banyaknya tuntutan yang ada di suatu perusahaan menyebabkan kurangnya kebahagiaan pada karyawan yang bekerja. Maka sudah sepantasnya perusahaan dapat menciptakan serta memberikan rasa bahagia pada setiap karyawannya agar karyawan dapat bekerja secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis hubungan anatara job demand dengan kebahagiaan di tempat pada karyawan PT.EX yang bekerja pada divisi marketing yang menjadi subyek pada penelitian ini. Dan pada penelitian ini alat ukur yang digunakan pada variabel job demand adalah Skala Questionnaire on the Experience and Evaluation of Work atau QEEW oleh Schaufeli Wilmar Bakker & Rhenen (2009), kemudian pada variabel kebahagiaan di tempat kerja menggunakan alat ukur Skala Diener & Diener (2008). Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh pada 50 responden penelitian, yang kemudian dilakukan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS versi 21. Berdasarkan pengolahan data pada penelitian ditemukan bahwa job demand memiliki nilai korelasi yang negatif terhadap kebahagiaan di tempat kerja sebesar -0,287, yang artinya semakin tinggi tekanan kerja (job demand) yang dirasakan kayawan maka semakin kecil rasa kebahagiaan karyawan dalam bekerja. Kata Kunci : Job Demand dan Happiness at Work. Everyone who works not only wants to earn income but also wants happiness in doing his job, but with the many demands that exist on a company it causes a lack of happiness for the employees who work. So the company should be able to create and give a sense of happiness to each of its employees so that employees can work optimally. This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between job demand and happiness at PT. EX employees who work in the marketing division are the subject of this study. And in this study the measuring tool used for job demands variabels was the Work Experience and Evaluation Scale Questionnaire or QEEW by Schaufeli Wilmar Bakker & Rhenen (2009), then for happiness variabels at work using the Diener & Diener Scale measurement tool (2008). This study used a saturated sample technique on 50 research respondents, which were then processed using SPSS version 21. Based on data processing in the study it was found that job demand has a negative correlation value on job happiness of -0.287, which means the higher the perceived job pressure employees, the smaller the employee's happiness at work.
