Abstract
Sausage is a one of favorite food who everyone like. The process of making sausage manually also takes a long time. Currently, there is sausage packing machine use for big scale industry, with the size and the power of this machine is big enough. The purpose of this project is for make a tool or machine who can package sausage practically, fast, hygienic, and portable. The process of designing a sausage filling machine using the French and Quality Function Deployment design methods. The French design method is used for the embodiment process and brings up working drawings and Bill of Material. Work Principle from this sausage packing tool is starting from the main power (electric motor) drives the pins. The pins are connected directly to the screw conveyor. With the result that screw conveyor can move to actuate the sausage material which formerly fell from the hopper and fell to the screw conveyor, to enter into the package through the funnel at the end of screw conveyor. The size of this sausage packing tool is 51x20x27,1 [cm], with result that this machine or tool is portable. The capacity of this tool is 1,5kg/minute, which is mean this tool can move 1,5kg sausage material during one minute, it’s more fast and practical. Keyword : Packaging ,Screw Conveyor, Hopper,Portable Sosis adalah jenis makanan yang digemari oleh masyarakat. Mesin pengisi sosis yang ada di pasaran berskala industri besar dengan daya dan ukuran yang besar. Perancangan mesin pengisi sosis ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengemas sosis dengan cepat, mudah, higienis, dengan bentuk yang minimalis. Proses perancangan mesin pembuat mesin pengisi sosis menggunakan metode perancangan French dan quality function deployment. Metode perancangan French digunakan untuk proses embodiment dan memunculkan gambar kerja dan Bill of Material. Prinsip kerja alat ini bermula dari daya utama (motor listrik) yang menggerakkan piringan berisi 7 pin. Piringan tersebut terhubung langsung dengan screw conveyor, sehingga screw conveyor dapat bergerak mengulir guna memindahkan adonan sosis yang masuk melalui hopper. Adonan sosis bergerak masuk ke dalam kemasan melalui corong yang berada di ujung screw conveyor. Mesin pengisi sosis ini berukuran 51x20x27,1 [cm] sehingga mudah dibawa (portable). Alat ini berkapasitas 1,5 kg/menit yang artinya dapat memindahkan 1,5 kg adonan dalam waktu satu menit sehingga lebih praktis dan cepat. Kata Kunci : Pengemas, Screw Conveyor, Hopper, Portable
