Abstract

In this period of growing information technology , the function of supervising performance and status of a server is one of the duties and responsibilities that are important to an administrator in a computerized system that is connected to a computer network company. Technically, to determine the performance and status on a server, an administrator must logon into each server and perform routine checks to see the performance and status of these servers. Based on the above, the author will tries to create applications that can help an administrator or group administrator to determine the performance and status of each server and can take steps to effectively deal with problems that occur on the server by using SMS Gateway technology. Keywords: Administrators, server, logon, SMS Gateway Didalam era teknologi informasi yang berkembang saat ini, fungsi mengawasi kinerja dan status dari sebuah server adalah salah satu tugas dan tanggung jawab yang sangat penting bagi seorang administrator pada suatu sistem komputerisasi yang terhubung dengan jaringan komputer disuatu perusahaan. Secara teknis untuk mengetahui kinerja dan status pada sebuah server , seorang administrator harus melakukan logon ke tiap-tiap server dan melakukan cek rutin untuk melihat kinerja dan status dari server tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diatas, maka penulis mencoba untuk membuat aplikasi yang dapat membantu seorang administrator atau administrator group untuk mengetahui kinerja dan status dari tiap server dan dapat mengambil langkah-langkah yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada server dengan memanfaatkan teknologi SMS Gateway. Kata Kunci : Administrator, server, logon, SMS Gateway
