Abstract

ABSTRAK Day Care Center atau Taman Penitipan Anak (TPA) merupakan sebuah bangunan yang difungsikan sebagai tempat untuk menitipkan anak. Menurut PBB (1990) dalam Novita (2019), day care merupakan sarana pengasuhan anak yang umumnya berlangsung pada saat jam kerja dan berlangsung dalam bentuk kelompok. Dalam kebijakan Dit. PAUD, TPA diharuskan memberikan layanan yang holistik (seluruh kebutuhan peserta didik untuk tumbuh dan berkembang, seperti dari segi kesehatan, gizi, pendidikan, pengasuhan dan perlindungan). Perancangan day care center ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tidak sedikitnya pasangan suami-istri yang keduanya sama-sama bekerja dan memiliki anak yang masih berusia dini (≤6 tahun) namun kesulitan mencari ART atau babysitter. Sehingga dengan adanya day care center ini diharapkan dapat membantu para orangtua untuk memenuhi kebutuhan holistik sang anak selama keduanya bekerja. Day Care Center ini dilengkapi dengan sekolah berupa Playgroup dan TK untuk memudahkan peserta day care yang sudah memasuki usia sekolah untuk bersekolah tanpa harus berpindah lokasi. Day care center dan sekolah anak usia dini ini dirancang dengan pendekatan arsitektur perilaku yang mana mempertimbangkan perilaku dan kebutuhan pengguna yang beragam, seperti bayi, anak-anak, pengguna stroller, dan orang dewasa. Sehingga bangunan dapat digunakan dengan mudah, aman, dan nyaman baik secara fisik maupun psikis. Sedangkan kurikulum yang diterapkan pada bangunan ini ialah kurikulum montessori dan kurikulum pendidikan semi-alam. Pemilihan kurikulum tersebut mempengaruhi desain dari segi kebutuhan ruang dan fasilitas. Kata kunci: Tempat Penitipan Anak (TPA), Kelompok Bermain (KB), Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK), Arsitektur Perilaku. According to the United Nations (1990) in Novita (2019), day care is a building that used as a place of caring for children which generally takes place during working hours and takes place in the form of groups. In the policy of Dit. PAUD, Day Care Center are required to provide holistic services (all the needs of students to grow and develop, such as in terms of health, nutrition, education, care and protection). The design of this day care center is motivated by the large number of married couples who both work and have young children (≤6 years) but have difficulty finding ART or babysitters. So with the existence of this day care center, it is hoped that it can help parents to meet the holistic needs of their children while both are working. This Day Care Center is equipped with schools in the form of Playgroups and Kindergartens to make it easier for day care participants who have entered school age to attend school without having to change locations. This day care center and early childhood school are designed with an architectural approach to behavior which takes into account the behavior and needs of various users, such as infants, children, stroller users, and adults. So that the building can be used easily, safely, and comfortably both physically and psychologically. Meanwhile, the curriculum applied in this building is the Montessori curriculum and the semi-nature education curriculum.
