Abstract

GMF Distribution Tracking is an alternative system of transportation modules that are collaborated with SAP SWIFT. Each feature has been adapted to the operational conditions in the field. Increased production volume from year to year, making this system should continue in enhancement annually following existing business conditions. This is because the rapid development of cutting-edge technology and the business scope of each year is growing. The goal is to get the most effective and efficient results. This system requires a large enough server, because the entire history of aircraft is components of the incoming and outgoing must be recorded for the purposes of administration and traceability. In the period of July-December 2018, the number of potentially missing components is 276 components. That makes resistance of the maintenance process and losses for the company because the company has to make a repurchase to those components. The increasing volume of components that must be distributed, it must be balanced with technology that can facilitate the process of control of the entire component movement and as a precaution of component loss. In this system facilitated barcode technology, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and digital signing features. After the GMF Distribution Tracking system was implemented, the number of potentially lost components in the period of January – July 2019 was reduced to 196 components. In addition, the system can also accelerate the component submission process. Keywords: GMF Distribution Tracking, SAP SWIFT, barcode, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) GMF Distribution Tracking merupakan suatu sistem alternatif modul transportasi yang dikolaborasikan dengan SAP SWIFT. Setiap fitur di dalamnya telah disesuaikan dengan kondisi operasional di lapangan. Meningkatnya volume produksi dari tahun ke tahun, membuat sistem ini harus terus di enhancement setiap tahunnya mengikuti kondisi bisnis yang ada. Hal ini disebabkan karena cepatnya perkembangan teknologi mutakhir dan scope bisnis yang setiap tahunnya semakin berkembang. Tujuannya, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang paling efektif dan efisien. Sistem ini memerlukan server yang cukup besar, dikarenakan seluruh riwayat komponen pesawat yang masuk maupun keluar harus tercatat guna keperluan administrasi dan penelusuran lokasi komponen. Pada periode Juli - Desember 2018, jumlah komponen yang berpotensi hilang adalah 276 komponen. Hal tersebut membuat terhambatnya proses maintenance pesawat dan kerugian bagi perusahaan dikarenakan perusahaan harus melakukan pembelian kembali kepada komponen-komponen tersebut. Semakin bertambahnya volume komponen yang harus didistribusikan, hal tersebut harus diimbangi dengan teknologi yang dapat mempermudah proses kontrol seluruh pergerakan komponen dan sebagai tindakan pencegahan kehilangan komponen. Pada sistem ini difasilitasi teknologi barcode, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) dan fitur digital signing. Setelah sistem GMF Distribution Tracking diimplementasikan, jumlah komponen yang berpotensi hilang pada periode Januari – Juli 2019 berkurang menjadi 196 komponen. Selain itu, sistem tersebut juga dapat mempercepat proses pengiriman komponen. Kata Kunci: GMF Distribution Tracking, SAP SWIFT, barcode, Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
