Abstract
ABSTRAK Mesin tapping auto merupakan mesin produksi yang terdapat pada perusahaan metal press yang berfungsi membuat sebuah ulir pada produk Nut Clip. Permasalah yang terjadi pada perusahaan ini adalah terdapat kekurangan hasil produksi dari target yang telah ditentukan , kekurangan tersebut bisa mencapai 5%. Salah satu nya faktor yang menjadi penyebab kekurangan produksi tersebut adalah mesin. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) adalah metode untuk meningkatkan nilai produktivitas, dan untuk Six Big Losses merupakan tools untuk menentukan penyebab tidak tercapainya produktivitas. Dari hasil analisa yang dilakukan, diketahui nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) sebesar 59%. Penyebab tidak tercapai nya produktivitas mesin karena faktor Equipment Failure Losses sebesar 13% yang disebabkan Downtime Losses yang mempengaruhi Availability Rate sedangkan Idling & Minor Stoppage Losses 8% yang mempengaruhi Performance Rate. Equipment Failure Losses menjadi faktor paling mempengaruhi nilai OEE tidak tercapai. Setelah diketahui faktor penyebab nilai OEE tidak tercapai, maka dilakukan perbaikan. Usulan perbaikan permasalahan kerusakan mesin dan proses perbaikan pada mesin tapping auto adalah dengan membuat prosedur dan jadwal produksi dengan maintenance, membuat jadwal training serta melakukan perawatan pada kendaraaan unit. Kata Kunci: Mesin Tapping Auto, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses ABSTRACT The tapping auto machine is a production machine found in the metal press company that serves to make a thread on Nut Clip products. The problem with this company is that there is a lack of production from the target that has been determined, the shortage can reach 5%. One of the factors that cause the lack of production is the machine. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a method of increasing productivity value, and for Six Big Losses is a tool to determine the cause of productivity. From the results of the analysis conducted, it is known that the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) value is 61%. The cause of the failure of machine productivity is due to equipment failure losses of 13% caused by downtime losses that affect availability rate while Idling & Minor stoppage losses 8% that affect performance rate. Equipment Failure Losses are the most influential factor in the value of OEE not achieved. Once it is known the causative factors of OEE value are not achieved, improvements are made. The proposed repair of engine damage problems and repair processes in the tapping auto machine is to make procedures and production schedules with maintenance, make training schedules and perform maintenance on the vehicle unit.
