Abstract

Widespread use of mobile devices such as notebooks, became a starting point in the application of wireless network technology on the environment Dana Pensiun Pertamina that is slowly replacing the cable network technology that feels very inefficient if used for devices such as notebooks. To support the application of the technology, the authors tried to implement a captive portal technology which also aims to secure the existing network. From the administrator, also made an application that can facilitate the administration of sistem setting and can also monitor the use of network resource to evaluate candidates in the future. With the system is expected to assist in controlling resource usage in wireless network environments of Dana Pensiun Pertamina. Keyword :Radius, WLAN, Captive Portal, Network Management, Concept AAA. Berkembangnya penggunaan perangkat mobile seperti notebook, menjadi sebuah titik awal dalam penerapan teknologi jaringan nirkabel pada lingkungan Dana Pensiun Pertamina yang secara perlahan menggantikan teknologi jaringan kabel yang dirasa sangat tidak efisien jika digunakan untuk perangkat-perangkat seperti notebook. Untuk mendukung penerapan teknologi ini, penulis mencoba meng-implementasikan teknologi captive portal yang sekaligus bertujuan untuk mengamankan jaringan yang ada. Dari sisi Administrator, juga dibuat suatu aplikasi yang dapat memudahkan dalam hal administrasi pengaturan sistem dan juga dapat memonitor penggunaan sumber daya jaringan sebagai bahan evaluasi di kemudian hari. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam mengendalikan dan mengontrol penggunaan sumber daya jaringan nirkabel di lingkungan Dana Pensiun Pertamina.
