Abstract

CV.Aldi Jaya is an effort in the field of sales of safety devices work. These efforts face the challenge to improve the quality of service for customers. The challenge is focused on Cash Sales Information System is still using manual systems, using paper media as a means of storing data so that if necessary the data, will require considerable time to look for, and allows for duplication of data that can hinder the process of service, which desired service process is accurate, fast and accurate. To overcome the above problems, it is necessary to design a computerized system, because with the computerized system will work more quickly and accurately than by using a system which still manual. A computerized system can also help to avoid distortion of data and transactions that can result in sales losses, so the sales can provide a good decision. Keywords: Sales of cash, Microsoft Visual Basic.Net CV.Aldi Jaya merupakan suatu usaha yang bergerak dibidang penjualan alat-alat keselamatan kerja. Usaha ini menghadapi tantangan untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan bagi pelanggan. Tantangan yang dimaksud dititikberatkan pada Sistem Informasi Penjualan Tunai yang masih menggunakan sistem manual, dengan menggunakan media kertas sebagai sarana penyimpanan data sehingga apabila dibutuhkan suatu data, akan memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama untuk mencarinya, dan memungkinkan adanya duplikasi data yang dapat menghambat proses pelayanan, dimana proses pelayanan yang diinginkan adalah tepat, cepat dan akurat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas, maka perlu adanya rancangan sistem yang terkomputerisasi, karena dengan adanya sistem terkomputerisasi pekerjaan akan lebih cepat dan akurat dibanding dengan menggunakan sistem yang masih manual. Sistem yang terkomputerisasi juga dapat membantu untuk menghindari penyimpangan data dan transaksi penjualan yang dapat mengakibatkan kerugian, sehingga pihak penjualan dapat memberikan keputusan yang baik.
