Abstract
ABSTRAK PT. DGK merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang plastik injeksi, salah satu produknya yaitu Cover Lunch Box. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas produk defect pada Cover Lunch Box di mesin injection molding dengan menggunakan metode PDCA dan alat bantu/tools serta analisa 5W+IH. Hasil analisis pada Cover Lunch Box selama enam bulan diperoleh rata rata jumlah defect mencapai 582 pcs/bulan atau persentasenya mencapai 1,2% yang jauh dari standar perusahaan sebesar 0,5%. Dari Metode PDCA, pada tahap plan didapati jenis defect yang ada pada Cover Lunch Box yaitu defect sink mark, blackdot dan shortmold. Dari ketiga jenis defect tersebut dilakukan analisa menggunakan diagram fishbone untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab defect tersebut. Kemudian pada tahapan Do dilakukan perbaikan berdasarkan rencana yang sudah dibuat yaitu dengan membuat schedule perawatan mesin secara berkala, membuat standar penuangan material, menerapkan metode First in First Out pada penggunaan material, dibuat instruksi penyemprotan cairan silicon/cleaner pada cetakan mold, dan dibuatkan jadwal training skill operator. Pada tahap Check didapati penurunan defect pada Cover Lunch Box dengan ratarata defect menjadi 231 pcs/bulan atau persentasenya menjadi 0,48%. Lalu pada tahap Action dilakukan standarisasi dengan membuat S.O.P yang baru pada perusahaan agar perbaikan yang dilakukan dapat menjaga kualitas pada produk Cover Lunch Box. This study aims to analyze the quality of defective products on the Cover Lunch Box in the injection molding machine using the PDCA method and tools as well as 5W+IH analysis. Then at the Do stage, improvements are made based on the plans that have been made, namely by making a regular machine maintenance schedule, making material pouring standards, applying the First in First Out method on the use of materials, making instructions for spraying silicon/cleaner liquid on molds, and making a training schedule. Operator skills. In the Check stage, it was found that there was a decrease in defects in the Cover Lunch Box with an average defect of 231 pcs/month or a percentage of 0.48%. Then at the Action stage, standardization is carried out by making a new S.O.P at the company so that the improvements made can maintain the quality of the Cover Lunch Box product.
