Abstract

ABSTRAK Rem adalah sistem yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan, memperlambat dan menghentikan putaran roda. Kegagalan pada sistem pengereman memiliki dampak yang sangat fatal bagi pengemudi maupun pengendara lainya. Karena sangat penting dari fungsi sistem rem kendaraan maka perlu dilakukan penelitian mendalam tentang daya pengereman yang dibutuhkan agar sistem rem dapat bekerja sempurna dan berhenti sesuai standar jarak pengereman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat mengetahui besarnya daya pengereman yang diperlukan tipe disc brake pada motor listrik E-Niaga 3 roda Geni biru untuk dapat menghentikan kendaraan secara sempurna. Metode pengujian yang akan digunakan adalah dengan melakukan uji jalan pengereman dengan kecepatan variasi kendaraan 20 Km/jam, 30 Km/jam dan 40 Km/jam dengan jarak maksimal berhenti kendaraan 25 meter. Dari hasil perhitungan teoritis dan pengujian pada kendaraan E- didapat hasil daya pengereman yang dibutuhkan pada kecepatan 20 Km/jam sebesar 3786,97 J/s dengan jarak berhenti kendaraan sejauh 7,4 meter dan gaya pengereman sebesar 1371 N, pada kecepatan 30 Km/jam daya pengereman sebesar 7563,79 J/s dengan jarak berhenti kendaraan sejauh 12,26 meter dan gaya pengereman sebesar 1820 N, pada kecepatan 40 Km/jam Daya pengereman sebesar 11118,25 J/s dengan jarak berhenti kendaraan 19,8 meter dan gaya pengereman sebesar 2021,5 N. Failures in the braking system have a very fatal impact on the driver and other drivers. Because it is very important from the function of the vehicle brake system, it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the braking power needed so that the brake system can work perfectly and stop according to the standard braking distance. The purpose of this study is to be able to determine the amount of braking power required for the disc brake type on the blue Geni 3-wheeled E-Commerce electric motor to be able to stop the vehicle perfectly. The test method that will be used is to test the braking road with a vehicle variation speed of 20 Km / h, 30 Km / h and 40 Km / h with a maximum vehicle stop distance of 25 meters.
