Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam pengoperasiannya, saat peralatan gardu induk (switchyard) menghantarkan arus listrik maka akan terjadi suhu panas atau hot point karena kerugian arus mengalir dalam konduktor yang disebabkan oleh adanya hambatan. Akibat banyaknya peralatan yang sudah berusia tua dan jarak antar-switchyard yang berdekatan, sering terjadinya gesekan sehingga rawan muncul hot point. Suhu tinggi (hot point) akan mengakibatkan terjadinya kenaikan suhu dan meningkatnya rugi-rugi daya penghantar pada peralatan Arrester. Bagian yang sering mengalami pemanasaan adalah bagian terminal dan sambungan pada switchyard, terutama antara dua logam yang berbeda, serta penampang konduktor yang mengecil karena korosi. Sehingga bagian tersebut harus diperhatikan, yaitu dengan cara melakukan pengontrolan atau pengecekan. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengukuran suhu menggunakan alat Thermovisi merk FLIR i50 pada titik sambungan klem dan konduktor pada Lightning Arrester di wilayah kerja GI Poncol Baru UPT Bekasi. Data tersebut diolah untuk menentukan berapa selisih nilai suhu pada klem dan konduktor, menghitung nilai tahanan konduktor saat terjadinya kenaikan suhu, menghitung nilai rugi-rugi daya, serta menghitung nilai susut energi listrik. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini, nilai suhu saat pengukuran thermovisi rata-rata mencapai 41,9 ℃ dan total nilai tahanan pada konduktor adalah 0,0029201 Ω dengan rata-rata tahanan yaitu 0,0001082 Ω. Dari nilai resistansi tersebut akan mempengaruhi nilai rugi daya penghantar yang dihasilkan pada konduktor lightning arrester dengan total sebesar 326,66 W atau 0,32666 kW dan total asumsi nilai susut energi listrik sebesar 235,20 kWh per bulan dan 2861, 57 kWh per tahunnya. Kata Kunci : Lightning Arrester, Suhu, Hot Point, Thermovisi ABSTRACT In operation, when the substation equipment (switchyard) conducts electric current there will be a hot temperature or hot point due to current losses flowing in the conductor caused by resistance. Due to the large number of equipment that is old and the distance between switches that are close together, friction often occurs so that hot points are prone to appear. High temperature (hot point) will result in an increase in temperature and an increase in conductor losses in the arrester equipment. Parts that often experience heating are the terminals and connections in the switchyard, especially between two dissimilar metals, as well as the conductor cross-section which shrinks due to corrosion. So that part must be considered, namely by controlling or checking. This research method was carried out by measuring temperature using a Thermovisi brand FLIR i50 at the connection point of the clamps and conductors on the Lightning Arrester in the working area of the GI Poncol Baru UPT Bekasi. The data is processed to determine the difference in the temperature values of the clamps and conductors, calculate the value of conductor resistance when the temperature rises, calculate the value of power losses, and calculate the value of electrical energy losses. Based on the results of the analysis and tests that have been carried out in this study, the average temperature value when measuring thermovision reaches 41.9 ℃ and the total resistance value to the conductor is 0.0029201 Ω with an average resistance of 0.0001082 Ω. From this resistance value, it will affect the value of the conductor power loss generated on the lightning arrester conductor with a total of 326.66 W or 0.32666 kW and the total assumed value of electrical energy loss is 235.20 kWh per month and 2861.57 kWh per year.
