Abstract

ABSTRAK Studi analisis ini membahas tentang konsumsi energi listrik, pemasangan kapsitor bank, dan perhitungan efisiensi energi listrik di Kapal Angkatan Laut (KAL) Limboto Di PT Tesco Indomaritim. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, dan perhitungan nilai kapasitor bank dan simulasi menggunakan program software ETAP (Electrical Transient Analysis Program). Hasil dari penelitian efisiensi konsumsi energi listrik, dapat diketahui bahwa setelah dilakukan perbaikan faktor daya pada sistem kelistrikan KAL Limboto dengan menggunakan kapasitor bank berukuran 50 kVar di bus 2, maka power quality sistem kelistrikan mengalami peningkatan. Faktor daya pada bus utama sistem kelistrikan mengalami kenaikan hingga 98,2% yang pada awalnya sebesar 83,69%. Besarnya rugi-rugi daya sistem dapat diturunkan dikarenakan arus total pada sistem berkurang. Pada kondisi beban puncak dengan total daya reaktif bernilai 114,48 kVAR berkurang menjadi 60,48 kVAR, nilai total daya semu 208,58 kVA berkurang menjadi 187,79 kVA, dan nilai daya nyata tetap yaitu senilai 174,17 kW. Kapal KAL Limboto melakukan penghematan untuk konsumsi energi listrik sebesar 583,54 kWH, penghematan bahan bakar sebesar 157,5 liter, serta penghematan biaya operasional sebesar Rp. 1.787.625,00 setiap harinya. Kata Kunci: Efisiensi konsumsi energi listrik , faktor daya, penghematan energi listrik, ABSTRACT This analytical study discusses the consumption of electrical energy, the installation of bank capacitors, and the calculation of electrical energy efficiency on the Limboto Navy Ship (KAL) at PT Tesco Indomaritim. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, and calculating the capacitor bank value and simulation using the ETAP (Electrical Transient Analysis Program) software program. The results of the research on the efficiency of electrical energy consumption, it can be seen that after improving the power factor in the Limboto KAL electrical system using a 50 kVar capacitor bank on bus 2, the power quality of the electrical system has increased. The power factor on the main bus of the electrical system has increased to 98.2% which was originally 83.69%. The amount of system power losses can be reduced because the total current in the system is reduced. At peak load conditions with a total reactive power of 114.48 kVAR reduced to 60.48 kVAR, the total apparent power value of 208.58 kVA was reduced to 187.79 kVA, and the real power value remained at 174.17 kW. The KAL Limboto ship saves electricity consumption of 583.54 kWH, fuel savings of 157.5 liters, and operational cost savings of Rp. 1,787,625.00 daily.
