Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama NIM Pembimbing TA Judul : : : : Nabima Reyhan 41518210014 Dwiki Jatikusumo, S.Kom,M.Kom Rancang Bangun Jaringan Wireless Menggunakan Teknik Point to Point dengan perhitungan QoS dari Desa Pasir Randu ke Desa Kebon Kopi Jaringan internet bukanlah sesuatu yang baru saat ini, hampir di setiap tempat terdapat jaringan internet untuk memperlancar arus informasi pada tempat tersebut. Akan tetapi jaringan internet di Indonesia belum merata. Internet sangat di perlukan terutama di masa pandemi covid – 19, yang semua aktivitas dilakukan serba online seperti sekolah online dan pekerjaan yang dilakukan dari rumah (Work from home) yang bertujuan mengurangi penyebaran covid-19. Point to point merupakan solusi untuk menghubungkan dua area yang berjauhan dengan menggunakan metode nirkabel sehingga akan lebih hemat tanpa penggunaan kabel yang banyak jika jarak yang harus ditempuh oleh kabel jauh. Penelitian ini akan membuat rancang bangun jaringan wireless menggunakan teknik point to point dengan perhitungan QoS di desa Pasir Randu ke desa Kebon Kopi. Penelitian akan menggunakan 3 wireless protocol yaitu 802.11, nstreme, dan Nv2. Untuk mengetahui kualitas ditiap-tiap protocol menggunakan software wireshark tool analyzer untuk mengambil paket yang dilakukan di pagi hari dan sore hari. Pada rancang bangun jaringan wireless point to point di Desa Pasirandu ke Desa Kebon Kopi berdasarkan pengujian QoS lebih baik menggunakan wireless protocol nv2, karena mampu membawa throughput besar, delay dan jitter dengan nilai yang kecil, dan packet loss dengan kategori sangat bagus. However, the internet network in Indonesia is not evenly distributed. The internet is very much needed, especially during the covid-19 pandemic, where all activities are carried out completely online such as online schools and work from home which aims to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Point to point is a solution to connect two distant areas using the wireless method so that it will be more efficient without using a lot of cables if the distance that must be traveled by cable is far. This research will design a wireless network using point to point technique with QoS calculation in Pasir Randu village to Kebon Kopi village. The research will use 3 wireless protocols, namely 802.11, nstreme, and Nv2. To determine the quality of each protocol using the Wireshark tool analyzer software to retrieve packets carried out in the morning and evening. In designing a point to point wireless network in Pasirandu Village to Kebon Kopi Village based on QoS testing, it is better to use the nv2 wireless protocol, because it is able to carry large throughput, delay and jitter with small values, and packet loss with very good categories.
