Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama NIM Pembimbing TA Judul Di era globalisasi in : : : : Dede Kurniawan 41517210025 Sri Dianing Asri ST, M.Kom Aplikasi Penyewaan Mobil Berbasis Web i kemajuan teknologi dan ilmu pengatahuan merupakan bagian penting dan sangat berpengaruh dalam perkembangan suatu organisasi, pesatnya teknologi informasi telah merubah tata kerja di segala bidang menjadi lebih efisien, praktis dan handal dari waktu ke wa ktu. Sedangkan hasil kemajuan teknologi seperti komputer pada saat ini merupakan suatu kebutuhan setiap instansi, baik dalam pemerintahan maupun instansi perusahaan swasta, kemajuan suatu instansi atau perusahaan dapat dilihat dari bagaimana cara memanfaat kan teknologi komputerisasi sebagai alat bantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah atau pekerjaan. Hal tersebut dapat sangat menunjang dalam perusahaan berskala besar, menengah maupun kecil dalam persaingan bisnis global yang semakin pesat. Setiap perusahaan baik itu perusahaan kecil maupun besar membutuhkan pengolahan data yang khusus untuk mengelola suatu data dengan cepat dan tepat, sehingga tidak menjadi banyak penumpukan tugas yang menyita waktu dan tenaga dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan Penyewaan mobil sa at ini masih menggunakan media kertas dan tulisan berbentuk dokumen berupa data pengembalian mobil, data penyewaan,, dan laporan transaksi penyewaan mobil, yang dapat memperlambat dalam proses penyewaan mobil, pencarian data dan pembuatan laporan penyewaan tiap bulannya, karena harus mencari dan menyesuaikan arsiparsip tersebut dan keamanan datanya pun belum tentu terjamin. Tujuan di buat nya Aplikasi Penyewaan Mobil Berbasis Web ini agar pendataan dan pengarsipan dokumendokumen lebih rapih,efisien dalam pencarian data,dan tentu nya lebih aman di bandingkan masih menggunakan metode manual seperti kertas.Dalam proses pembuatan web ini penulis menggunakan metode waterfall,Framework yang di gunakan adalah Codeigniter ,Serta melakukan pengujian black box untuk Kata Kunci : Penyewaan mobil,Metode waterfall,Codeigniter. While the results of technological advances such as computers at this time is a necessity of every agency, both in government and private enterprise agencies, the progress of an agency or company can be seen from how to utiliz e computerized technology as a tool in solving problems or work. This can be very supportive in large, medium and small scale companies in the rapidly growing global business competition. Every company, whether small or large, requires special data process ing to manage data quickly and precisely, so that it does not become a lot of task accumulation that takes time and effort in completing a job Car rentals today still use paper and writing media in the form of documents in the form of car return data, rent al data, and reports of car rental transactions, which can slow down in the process of car rental, data search and making rental reports every month, because having to search and adjust the archives and data security is not necessarily guaranteed. The purp ose of this Webbased car rental application is to make data collection and archiving of documents neater, efficient in the search of data, and of course more secure in comparison still using manual methods such as paper.
