Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Muhammad Dulfi Kamal NIM : 41516320004 Pembimbing TA : Dwi Anindyani Rocmah,ST,MTI Judul : Aplikasi Absensi Karyawan Berbasis Web di PT.Artavac Melayani Indonesia Perkembangan teknologi informasi dari tahun ketahun yang semakin cepat menjadi tantangan berat bagi pengguna teknologi informasi itu sendiri dan mendorong setiap sektor organisasi untuk dapat memanfaatkannya sebagai penunjang kegiatan kerja sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat. Absensi kehadiran pegawai merupakan faktor penting bagi sebuah instansi untuk mencapai tujuan, hal ini berkaitan pada kedisiplinan dan berdampak pada kinerja dari masing-masing pegawai. PT.Artavac Melayani Indonesia untuk saat ini belum memliki system aplikasi absensi, sehingga hal tersebut menjadi tidak efektif dalam pencatatan kehadiran serta rekapitulasi laporan bulanan absen. Untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut, dibutuhkan teknologi informasi yang berkualitas dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan yang ada yaitu permasalahan absensi tersebut. Sistem absensi berbasis website ini bisa menjadi solusi untuk menunjang dalam melakukan kegiatan absensi dengan efektif dan efisien. Dalam perancangan website ini menggunakan metode Waterfall .Sitem ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework CodeIgniter, dan menggunakan database MySql. Dengan dihasilkannya sistem absensi karyawan berbasis website ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam proses absensi dan rekapitulasi laporan absensi bulanan, serta meminimalisir kehilangan dan kesalahan pencatatan data absensi pada PT.Artavac Melayani Indonesia. Employee attendance is an important factor for an agency to achieve goals, this is related to discipline and has an impact on the performance of each employee. PT.Artavac Melayani Indonesia currently does not have an attendance application system, so that it becomes ineffective in recording attendance and recapitulating monthly absent reports. To overcome these difficulties, quality information technology is needed and is able to meet the existing needs, namely the attendance problem. This website-based attendance system can be a solution to support effective and efficient attendance activities. In designing this website using the Waterfall method. This system was created using the PHP programming language, the CodeIgniter framework, and using the MySql database. With the creation of a website-based employee attendance system, it is hoped that it can provide convenience in the attendance process and monthly attendance report recapitulation, as well as minimize losses and errors in recording attendance data at PT.Artavac Melayani Indonesia..
