Abstract

In recent years there have been frequent accidents at sea on passenger ships which have caused many casualties from this event. This is presumably due to several factors, one of which is excessive loading. Therefore, to anticipate being safe, the number of cargo vessels must be in accordance with the normal manifest. The author designed a system for detecting excessive load loads on passenger ships using loadcell sensors, Arduino UNO microcontrollers and Blynk applications on Android as a remote monitor. Load cell sensor as input of the initial process connected with Arduino and output in the form of LCD, LED indicator, buzzer, motor driver to drive a DC motor. The software program contains instructions for running hardware components. Internet of Things technology is also used so that information can be received by users in real-time through the internet. Based on the results of testing on the system that has been designed, information in the form of a percentage of the amount of load read by loadcell sensors that have 99.09% accuracy from the results of mathematical calculations and displayed on the LCD, activates alarm (buzzer) when excessive load and engine does not turn on when excessive load. The average speed of sending data on the Blynk application for monitors is 1.56 seconds. Keywords: Microcontroller, Loadcell Sensor, Load detection system, Overload Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir sering kali terjadi kecelakaan laut pada kapal penumpang yang menimbulkan banyak korban jiwa dari kejadian ini. Hal ini diduga karena beberapa faktor, salah satunya yaitu berlebihan muatan. Oleh sebab itu, untuk mengantisipasi agar tetap aman, jumlah muatan kapal harus sesuai dengan manifes normalnya. Penulis merancang sistem pendeteksi beban muatan berlebihan pada kapal penumpang menggunakan sensor loadcell, mikrokontroler Arduino UNO dan aplikasi blynk di Android sebagai pemantau jarak jauh. Sensor load cell sebagai masukan (input) proses awal yang dihubungkan dengan Arduino dan keluaran (output) berupa LCD, LED indicator, buzzer, motor driver untuk menggerakkan motor DC (baling-baling kapal). Program software berisi intruksi untuk menjalankan komponen hardware. Teknologi Internet of Things juga digunakan supaya informasi dapat diterima pengguna secara real-time melalui jaringan internet. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pada sistem yang telah dirancang, informasi berupa persentase jumlah muatan yang dibaca oleh sensor loadcell yang mempunyai akurasi 99,09% dari hasil perhitungan matematis lalu ditampilkan pada LCD, mengaktifkan alarm (buzzer) pengingatan apabila beban muatan berlebihan dan mesin tidak menyala apabila beban muatan berlebihan. Kecepatan rata-rata pengiriman data pada aplikasi blynk untuk pemantau sebesar 1,56 detik. Kata Kunci : Mikrokontroler, Sensor loadcell, Sistem pendeteksi muatan, Overload
