Abstract

In the past few years this has become an interesting issue about the fifth generation (5G) to become a new telecommunications standard. The use of frequencies in high frequency domains but with a small wavelength or called Millimeter Wave (mmWave) is one solution. Microstrip rectangular patch u-slot array 1x2 MIMO 2 element is a feasible one for this application because it is able to work on mmWave frequencies and has a high gain. The design of this antenna using Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) V.13 software and the selection of Rogers RT / Duroid 5880 with a thickness of 1.575mm;
