Abstract

E-health or electronic health is a development that exists in the world of health. Information and medical care can be done using technology. Technology that is present in the world of health can also be called telemedicine. Telemedicine can be defined as a narrowing of health care services where distance is a very important factor in the process of delivering information or medical treatment. By health professionals, using information and communication technology is very important. Because during the process, it requires valid data, the right diagnosis and preventive care for the disease. And also accompanied by continuing education and research on this system for advancement in the health sector. In telemedicine, there are various ways to implement it. One of them is in the field of dentistry, Teledentistry. Teledentistry can be interpreted as the use of information technology to carry out dental care that can be done remotely. In its development, teledentistry is used by the user to facilitate the system of examination and dental care. In the design of the teledentistry system created, the use of an intraoral USB camera connected to the Raspberry Pi to take pictures is then sent and stored in the database server. The process of sending images taken takes 5 seconds for images to be received on the database server. Keyword: Telemedicine, Teledentistry, Raspberry Pi, USB Intraoral camera E-health atau electronic health adalah suatu pengembangan yang ada di dalam dunia kesehatan. Informasi dan perawatan medis dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknologi. Teknologi yang hadir dalam dunia kesehatan dapat disebut juga telemedicine. Telemedicine dapat didefinisikan sebagai penyempaian layanan perawatan kesehatan dimana jarak menjadi faktor yang sangat penting dalam proses penyampaian informasi atau penanganan medis.Oleh para profesional ahli kesehatan, menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sangatlah penting. Dikarenakan pada saat proses tersebut, memerlukan data yang valid, diagnosis yang tepat dan perawatan pencegahan terhadap penyakit. Dan juga disertai dengan pendidikan dan penelitian yang berkelanjutan mengenai sistem ini demi kemajuan di bidang kesehatan.Didalam telemedicine, terdapat berbagai cara penerapannya. Salah satunya pada bidang kedokteran gigi yaitu Teledentistry. Teledentistry dapat diartikan sebagai penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk melaksanakan perawatan gigi yang bisa dilakukan dalam jarak jauh. Dalam pengembangannya teledentistry digunakan user untuk memudahkan dalam sistem pemeriksaan dan perawatan gigi.Dalam rancang bangun sistem teledentistry yang dibuat ini, penggunaan kamera USB intraoral yang dihubungkan di Raspberry Pi untuk mengambil gambar kemudian dikirim dan disimpan dalam databse server. Proses pengiriman gambar yang dilakukan memakan waktu 5 detik untuk gambar dapat diterima di database server. Kata kunci: telemedicine, teledentistry, Raspberry Pi dan camera USB intraoral
