Abstract
In Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) there is interesting thing that we can learn information process on it. It is spread spectrum, the technique of input data spreading after trough modulation, that the bandwidth become wider. In spread spectrum system, the transmitted data would be decode with certain and unique code. The sequence codes are randomly that only known by certain receiver, which are have the same code at transmitter. Among these codes on CDMA system, Hadamard and Bridge code are orthogonal codes and almost have same structure that used as spreading codes for transmitted bit information. This final project is to analyze the performance of transmitted bit information using both of codes to getting the system better. This analyze is doing by simple simulation using Matlab 7.1 programming. Dalam dunia Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) ada hal menarik yang dapat kita pelajari pemrosesan informasi didalamnya. Hal unik tersebut adalah spread spectrum, yang merupakan salah satu teknik penebaran suatu data input yang dimodulasi dengan sinyal informasi sehingga bandwidth-nya menjadi lebih lebar. Pada sistem spread spectrum, data yang dikirimkan akan dikodekan dengan menggunakan deretan kode tertentu. Deretan kode ini bersifat acak yang hanya dikenali oleh bagian penerima tertentu saja. Diantara sekian banyak kode dalam CDMA ini, Kode Hadamard dan Kode Bridge sama-sama merupakan kode yang saling orthogonal dengan memiliki struktur hampir sama, yang digunakan sebagai kode penyebar (spreading code) pada bit informsi yang akan dikirimkan. Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dilakukan pengamatan performansi pengiriman bit informasi dengan menggunakan kedua kode tersebut untuk mendapatkan kinerja sistem yang lebih baik. Pengamatan ini dilakukan dengan simulasi sederhana menggunakan program Matlab 7.1
