Abstract

Microwave is electromagnetic wave with frequency band between 3 Ghz - 30 Ghz, matter this means strarting from frequency above area of UHF and habit referred by area of microwave, in consequence communications link using carrier wave residing in frequency area referred by communications of microwave. Communications of microwave for distance 40 km at area level off to be needed by repeater station refeter, because character waving microwave. coming near the nature of- nature of light so that communications of microwave link have to sight. Equally communications of microwave referred also communications of terrestrial. In this final duty will be elaborated to regarding the quality of transmission link of microwave at direct broadcast ( live) between Senayan - RCTI Jakarta covering depiction by skematis, transmission system and calculation of transmission of microwave. Analysis is quality of link for the transmission of microwave cover stipulating of transmission parameters and calculation of quality of link required for the system implementation of transmission of microwave at station of TV Broadcast. Result of calculation of link constitute election of equipments of transmission of microwave matching with technical condition which required for the system implementation of transmission of microwave. Gelombang Mikro adalah gelombang elektromagnetik dengan band frekuensi antara 3 Ghz – 30 Ghz, hal ini berarti mulai dari frekuensi diatas daerah UHF dan biasa disebut daerah microwave, karena itu hubungan komunikasi yang menggunakan gelombang pembawa yang berada pada daerah frekuensi disebut komunikasi microwave. Pada komunikasi microwave untuk jarak 40 km pada daerah datar diperlukan setasiun pengulang (repeater), sebab karakter gelombang microwave mendekati sifat- sifat cahaya sehingga komunikasi microwave harus line of sight (LOS). Dengan kata lain komunikasi microwave disebut juga komunikasi terrestrial. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan diuraikan mengenai kualitas link transmisi microwave pada siaran langsung (live) antara Senayan – RCTI Jakarta yang meliputi penggambaran secara skematis, sistem transmisi dan perhitungan transmisi microwave. Analisis kualitas link untuk transmisi microwave meliputi penetapan parameter-parameter transmisi dan perhitungan kualitas link yang dibutuhkan untuk implementasi sistem transmisi microwave disuatu stasiun TV Broadcast. Hasil perhitungan link mendasari pemilihan peralatan transmisi microwave yang sesuai dengan pesyaratan teknis yang dibutuhkan untuk implementasi sistem transmisi microwave.
