Abstract

One of the problems that often occurs in this section is how to carry out the production process as efficiently and effectively as possible so that the production process can run smoothly. The purpose of this study is to determine the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value on the C3 engine and identify losses that reduce engine performance using the Six Big Losses method. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is an approach taken by all lines in an effort to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the equipment or machine as a whole. TPM can be measured using the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Six Big Losses as a tool for measuring the performance of the equipment or machine. In this study, the calculation of OEE on the C3 engine at PT. Doulton. The performance of the C3 engine is not yet up to the OEE standard. Based on the results of calculations that have been carried out, the average OEE value in the period July 2021 - December 2021 is 35.41%. The low value of OEE is caused by the set up and adjustment loss factor and reduce speed loss, to reduce these losses the company must carry out maintenance in accordance with the existing maintenance schedule and the commitment of all employees to implement TPM and 5S properly. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada bagian yaitu bagaimana cara melaksanakan proses produksi se-efisien mungkin dan efektif sehingga proses produksi dapat berjalan lancar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan nilai keefektifan keseluruhan peralatan pada mesin C3 dan mengidentifikasi losses yang menurunkan kinerja mesin dengan menggunakan metode Six Big Losses. Total Productive Maintenance adalah suatu pendekatan yang dilakukan oleh semua lini sebagai usaha untuk memaksimalkan efisiensi dan efektivitas peralatan atau mesin secara keselurahan. TPM dapat diukur dengan menggunakan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness dan Six Big Losses sebagai alat ukur performa dari peralatan atau mesin. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perhitungan OEE pada mesin C3 di PT. Doulton. Kinerja mesin C3 belum sesuai dengan standar OEE. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, rata – rata nilai OEE pada periode bulan Juli 2021 – Desember 2021 adalah 35.41%. Rendahnya nilai OEE diakibatkan oleh faktor set up and adjustmen loss dan reduce speed loss, untuk mengurangi kerugian tersebut perusahaan harus melakukan pemeliharaan sesuai dengan jadwal maintenance yang sudah ada dan komitmen semua karyawan untuk mengimplementasikan TPM serta 5S dengan baik.
