Abstract

Taking care of pets is one of hobbies that human have, because it's considered to be able improve self confidence, responsibilty, and many other positive things. In raising pets, there are many considerations that must be thought and provided before taking care of animals, including food, cages and also how to maintaning pet's health. However, in the process there are also animal keeper that tend to face few problems, such as the difficulity to find the nearby clinic, finding related information about their pet, to difficulty in finding their lost pet. Even, prospective new or old custodians who want to adopt pet also often find it difficult. Related to these problems, "Our Pet's" application was designed, Our Pet is an application for Pet Owner and Pet lovers to information about their own pet, search for the nearest veterinary clinic using the Haversine algorithm, assist in the search for found and lost pet. "Our Pet's" application is built using the agile method and using the PHP programming language with Laravel 8 framework and MySQL as the database. It hoped that this application can help pet owner and pet lovers. Keywords : Pet, Adopt, Lost, Clinic, Website Memelihara hewan merupakan salah satu hobi atau kegemaran yang dimiliki manusia, karena dinilai mampu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, tanggung jawab, dan hal-hal positif lainnya. Dalam memelihara hewan, terdapat banyak pertimbangan yang harus dipikirkan dan disiapkan oleh pemelihara hewan, di antaranya makanan, tempat tinggal, dan juga cara menjaga kesehatan hewannya. Namun, dalam prosesnya tentu pemelihara hewan juga akan mengalami beberapa masalah seperti sulitnya mencari klinik hewan terdekat, mencari informasi terkait hewan peliharaannya, sampai kesulitan dalam mencari hewan peliharaannya yang hilang. Bahkan, bagi calon pemelihara baru ataupun pemelihara lama yang ingin melakukan adopsi hewan juga sering merasakan kesulitan. Terkait permasalahan tersebut, dirancang aplikasi “Our Pet’s” , yaitu aplikasi bagi pemelihara dan pecinta hewan berbasis website untuk mencari informasi hewan peliharaan, mencari klinik hewan terdekat menggunakan Algoritma Haversine, membantu dalam penemuan dan pencarian hewan yang hilang. Aplikasi “Our Pet’s” dibangun menggunakan metode agile dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel 8 serta MySQL sebagai database nya. Diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat membantu para pemelihara dan pecinta hewan. Kata kunci : Hewan, Adopsi, Hilang, Klinik, Website
