Abstract

Economical quality nowadays become a new trend in industrial world. Eficiency become the most of its goal. PT. Filamento Sakti as one of the producer of Tire Cord Yarn always keep on trying to applícate this in the company operational activity. Because the price of raw material made from crude oil become higher day by day, the company do a lot of eficiency program so that can decrease the operational cost of production in consideration on the quality of product. The using of powder Heat Stabilizer ( HST ) instead of pellet HST become more important due to the expensive cost of HST. With make some modification and buy a new machine, the amazing result was got by the company. With the using of NPV, IRR, PBP and BEP method as the method to do the Engineering economic analysis, the result show that the investments to this project are frofitable to be applicated. Kualitas yang berorientasi pada sisi ekonomi saat ini menjadi trend baru di dunia industri. Efisiensi adalah tujuan utama dari semua itu. PT. Filamendo Sakti sebagai salah satu produsen benang ban terus mencoba untuk mengaplikasikannya dalam kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Dipicu oleh melambungnya harga bahan baku perusahaan yang berbahan dasar minyak bumi, perusahaan melakukan berbagai macam efisiensi dengan harapan mampu menekan tingginya biaya operasional produksi dengan tetap mempertimbangkan sisi kualitas produk. Penggunaan Heat Stabilizer ( HST ) powder sebagai salah pengganti dari HST pellet menjadi sangat penting mengingat mahalnya harga bahan penunjang itu. Dengan melakukan modifikasi dan pembelian alat baru, hasil yang didapatkan dari konversi HST ini sangat luar biasa. Dengan menjadikan metode NPV, IRR, PBP dan BEP sebagai metode untuk melakukan analisa ekonomi teknik, hasil yang didapatkan ternyata menunjukkan bahwa investasi untuk proyek ini sangat menguntungkan untuk dijalankan.
