Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of ERP systems on PT DSM as an effort to improve product quality and production speed, but often appears partial failure in the implementation. The analytical method used is the ERP life cycle of O'Leary. And aims to analyze each phase of ERP implementation cycle PT DSM that has experienced partial failure caused by over-due date go live, over time and over budget. And to analyze the suitability of the actual implementation of the training phase of the ERP life cycle method O'Leary. The results of the study that the implementation failured of ERP in PT DSM because of not doing e-commerce-based analysis and training that are not well planned. Improvement efforts that can be done are implementing e- commerce-based analysis and a better planning of related matter, the implementation time also the expected goals of the training. Keywords : ERP Implementation. Studi ini melakukan analisis penerapan sistem ERP pada PT DSM sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan kecepatan produksinya, tetapi sering muncul kegagalan parsial dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah ERP life cycle O’Leary. Dan bertujuan menganalisis setiap tahapan siklus penerapan ERP PT DSM yang telah mengalami kegagalan parsial diakibatkan oleh over due date go live, over time dan over budget. Serta menganalisis kesesuaian pelaksanaan aktual dari fase training metode ERP life cycle O’Leary. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian bahwa kegagalan penerapan ERP di PT DSM karena tidak dilakukannya analisis berbasis e-commerce dan training yang tidak direncanakan dengan baik. Upaya perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu menerapkan analisis berbasis e-commerce dan merencanakan lebih baik terkait materi, waktu pelaksanaan dan tujuan yang diharapkan dari training tersebut. Kata-kunci : Implementasi ERP.
