Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of emotional maturity on self regulated learning during the pandemic in seventh grade students at Permata Insani Islamic First Middle School. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The population in this study amounted to 149 students with a sample of 109 students. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires from the Emotional Maturity and Self Regulated Learning scales, but because the two scales in this study were modifications, before the scale was used the researchers tried out 30 students. The data analysis in this study used simple linear regression and the results obtained were a positive influence of emotional maturity on self regulated learning with the regression value equation Y = 17,248 + 0,504. The X regression coefficient of 0.504 means that for every 1% increase in Emotional Maturity, the Self Regulated Learning of Permata Insani Junior High School students will increase by 0.504. The regression coefficient has a positive value. It can be concluded that the direction of the influence of the variable (X) Emotional Maturity on the variable (Y) Self Regulated Learning is positive. Keywords: Emotional Maturity, Self Regulated Learning Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kematangan emosi terhadap self regulated learning di masa pandemi pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Permata Insani Islamic School. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 149 siswa dengan sampel sebesar 109 siswa. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dari skala Kematangan Emosi dan Self Regulated Learning, namun karena kedua skala dalam penelitian ini adalah modifikasi maka sebelum skala digunakan peneliti melakukan try out pada 30 siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan hasil yang didapatkan adalah adanya pengaruh positif kematangan emosi terhadap self regulated learning dengan persamaan nilai regresi Y= 17,248 + 0,504. Koefisien regresi X sebesar 0,504 artinya bahwa setiap peningkatan 1% kematangan emosi maka Self Regulated Learning pada siswa SMP Permata Insani akan meningkat sebesar 0,504. Koefisien regresi memiliki nilai positif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa arah pengaruh variabel (X) kematangan emosi terhadap variabel (Y) Self Regulated Learning adalah positif.
