Abstract
This study examines attachment which was first introduced by Edward John Mostyn Bowlby put forward by him in 1969, briefly attachment is a status and quality of relationships that are within the range of comfort and discomfort between individuals who are associated with friendship which explains that friendship is a relationship. or the bond between two people who spend time together is correlated in any situation and helps related to emotional impulses Baron & Bryne (2006) in their resear ch looked at the phenomenon of slang language related to attachment and freideship quality. From this study, it resulted in a significance level of <0.05 which means that friendship quality and attachment are related so that close or high friendship quality and attachment will use slang language more often, in this case the slang language used by researchers is in a different format, namely using harsh language in conversation. Keyword : Friendship quality, Attachment, Slang language Penelitian ini meniliti mengenai Attachment yang pertama kali dikenalkan oleh Edward John Mostyn Bowlby dikemukakan oleh beliau pada tahun 1969, secara singkat attachment yaitu suatu status dan kualitas hubungan yang berada dalam rentang kenyamanan dan ketidak nyamanan antara individu yang dihubungkan dengan friendship yang menjelaskan bahwa persahabatan yaitu jalinan atau ikatan antara dua insan yang melewatkan waktu bersama-sama berkorelasi dalam berbagai situasi apapun dan membantu terkait dorongan emosional Baron & Bryne (2006) dalam penelitian peneliti melihat fenomena slang language yang berhubungan dengan attachment dan freideship quality. Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan taraf signifikansi <0,05 yang dimana frienship quality dan attachment berhubungan sehingga frienship quality dan attachment yang erat atau tinggi maka akan lebih sering menggunakan slang language dalam hal ini slang language yang digunakan oleh peneliti berbeda format yaitu menggunakan bahasa kasar dalam percakapannya.
