Abstract

Furniture in a cafe that is very useful to support the comfort and convenience of visitors, especially chairs. Factors that influence a person to be able to linger in a cafe are a comfortable place and the main factor is comfort when sitting, Cafe chairs are also a type of general furniture used in public places that are directly connected and interactive by cafe visitors. Currently, there are many types of cafes that offer diverse experiences and environments in order to support the atmosphere when visitors are active in cafes, therefore it is necessary to design different chair designs for users by implementing a transformation system in their design from dining chairs to relaxed cafe chairs that have Functional flexibility makes it easier for users to transform the shape of the chair according to their needs. Of course, the application of a transformable system must be balanced with the use of products that are more friendly when used, so that they can facilitate and provide convenience in the public sphere, and are friendly to all people. Keywords: Furniture, Cafe, Transformable, Ambience, Experience, Friendly. Peran furniture di dalam sebuah kafe sangat berguna untuk menunjang aktifitas dan kenyamanan para pengunjung khususnya kursi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi seseorang dapat betah berlama-lama di dalam sebuah kafe adalah tempatnya yang nyaman dan faktor utama yaitu dengan kenyamanan saat duduk, Kursi kafe juga merupakan jenis public furniture yang di gunakan di tempat umum yang terhubung dan interaktif langsung oleh pengunjung kafe. Saat ini banyak sekali jenis kafe yang menawarkan experience dan environment yang beragam agar dapat mendukung suasana saat pengunjung beraktifitas di dalam kafe, oleh karena itu di perlukan juga rancangan kursi yang dapat memberikan ambience yang berbeda terhadap pengguna dengan menerapkan sistem transformasi pada rancangannya dari kursi dinning menjadi kursi kafe santai yang memiliki fleksibilitas secara fungsi sehingga memudahkan pengguna saat mentransformasi bentuk kursi sesuai kebutuhan mereka. Tentunya penerapan sistem transformable harus dapat di imbangi dengan penggunaan produk yang lebih ramah saat digunakan, sehingga dapat memfasilitasi kegiatan dan memberikan kemudahan di ranah publik, dan ramah bagi semua kalangan.
