Abstract
Based on the results of a previous visit to SDN Jelambar 08 which is located on Jalan Gift Raya, Jelambar Village, Grogol Petamburan District, during my visit to that place, then I visited one of the classrooms, where the lighting was inadequate to support teaching and learning activities, due to lighting that are not good can cause damage to the sense of sight, and greatly interfere with visual activities in teaching and learning activities. Based on the Indonesian National Standard number 03-6575-2001 that the standard of light intensity in classrooms is 250 Lux. Based on the measurement results, the lighting system installed at SDN Jelambar 08 is very far from the word feasible and standard, namely the average lighting intensity is 93.8 Lux or 38%, while for class 2B it is 19.4 Lux or 8% of the standard, namely 250 Lux, in order to meet the standard, improvements were made to the lighting system starting from cleaning the lamp, replacing the lamp to adding a lamp point. After repairs were made to the lighting system based on the available formula which was carried out in one of the 2B class rooms, the room already met the standard of 249.6 Lux or 100% where the previous one was 19.4 Lux or 8%. The light intensity in the room is in accordance with SNI No. 03-6575-2001 which is 250 Lux, this room can be a reference for repairing the lighting system in other rooms by the school. Berdasarkan hasil kunjungan ke SDN Jelambar 08 sebelumnya yang berlokasi di Jalan Hadiah Raya Kelurahan Jelambar Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan, pada saat kunjungan saya ke tempat tersebut, kemudian mendatangi salah satu ruang kelas, dimana kelas tersebut penerangannya kurang memadai untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar, akibat dari pencahayaan yang kurang baik dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada indra penglihatan, dan sangat menggangu kegiatan visual dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan Standar Nasional Indonesia nomor 03-6575-2001 bahwa standar intensitas cahaya pada ruang kelas yaitu 250 Lux. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran bahwa sistem penerangan yang terpasang pada SDN Jelambar 08 sangat jauh dari kata layak dan standar yaitu rata-rata intensitas pencahayaanya sebesar 93,8 Lux atau 38%, sedangkan utuk ruang kelas 2B yaitu 19,4 Lux atau 8% dari standar yaitu 250 Lux, agar bisa memenuhi standar maka dilakukan perbaikan pada sistem pencahyaan mulai dari pembersihan lampu, penggantian lampu hingga penambahan titik lampu . Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada sistem pencahayaan berdasarkan rumus yang tersedia yang dilakukan pada salah ruang kelas 2B, ruang tersebut sudah memenuhi standar yaitu sebesar 249,6 Lux atau 100% dimana yang sebelumnya sebesar 19,4 Lux atau 8% . Intensitas cahaya pada ruangan tersebut sudah sesuai dengan SNI No. 03-6575-2001 yaitu sebesar 250 Lux, ruangan tersebut bisa menjadi acuan untuk melakukan perbaikan sistem pencahyaan pada ruangan lainnya oleh pihak sekolah.
