Abstract
PT. Propan Dekorindo Raya is a manufacturing company engaged in chemical coatings or what is called the initials "CAT". One of the paint products produced by PT. Ptopan Dekorindo Raya is Ultraproof UPR-960. Quality is not only judged based on the results of the final product made but also during the manufacturing process. During the production process, a problem that often occurs is the batch problem, namely when the product produced is not by standards and requires adjustment. The data processing and analysis method used is Seven Tools with a Control Chart approach, Pareto Diagram, as well as cause and effect diagrams and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for strategic decision making on proposed improvement priorities. Three types of batch problems were obtained, namely colors that did not meet the standards, rough production, and viscosity that did not meet the standards caused by three types of factors, namely human factors (man) and methods (methods), and machines (machine). about color is the most as much as 74.5%, then Viscosity (16.4%), and then the rough batch problem is 9.1%. The priority strategy that has the highest weight is the proposed improvement strategy to make the historical system used to evaluate with a weight of 0.530 or 53%. Keywords: Quality, Seven Tools, AHP PT. Propan Dekorindo Raya merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang yang bergerak dibidang chemical coating atau yang disebut dengan inisial “CAT”. Salah satu produk cat yang diproduksi oleh PT. Ptopan Dekorindo Raya adalah Ultraproof UPR-960. Kualitas tidak hanya dinilai berdasarkan hasil dari produk akhir yang dibuat melainkan juga saat proses pembuatannya Saat proses produksi permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah problem batch yaitu ketika produk yang diproduksi tidak sesuai dengan standar dan memerlukan adjustment. Metode pengolahan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah Seven Tools dengan pendekatan Control Chart, Pareto Diagram, serta cause and effect diagram dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk pengambilan keputusan strategi prioritas usulan perbaikan. Diperoleh tiga jenis problem batch yaitu warna yang tidak sesuai standar, produks kasar, dan viscosity tidak sesuai standar disebabkan oleh tiga jenis faktor yaitu faktor manusia (man) dan metode (method), dan mesin (machine).Dari diagram pareto diketahui jenis problem batch tentang warna adalah yang terbanyak sebanyak 74,5%, kemudian Viscosity (16,4%), daln selanjutnya problem batch kasar sebanyak 9,1% .Adapun prioritas strategi yang memiliki bobot tertinggi adalah strategi usulan perbaikan membuat sistem historical yang digunakan untuk melakukan evaluasi dengan bobot 0,530 atau 53%.
