Abstract

Palm Oil plantations are one of the largest foreign exchange-producing industries in Indonesia with a land coverage is almost 8.9 million hectares (BPS, 2020) with a labor-intensive nature. In its current development where technology is developing rapidly, there are still many oil palm plantations that are managed using manually in their operational activities, where many other types of industries are starting to switch to using digitalization models into their business processes to increase industrial productivity and efficiency. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of harvest digitization to increase crop production in palm oil plantations using the DMAIC Six Sigma approach in order to find out the root causes of the problems and whether the digitization model applied is able to solve these problems so that it can participate in increasing the productivity of plantations that apply the system. the digitization. Keyword : Plantation digitalization, Six sigma DMAIC, Productions Perkebunan kelapa sawit adalah merupakan salah satu industri penghasil devisa terbesar di Indonesia dengan memiliki luas lahan terbentang hampir menyentuh 8.9 Juta Hektar (BPS,2020) dengan memiliki sifat industri padat karya. Dalam perkembangannya saat ini dimana teknologi sangat berkembang pesat masih banyak perkebunan kelapa sawit yang dikelola dengan menggunakan tata Kelola operasional banyak menggunakan operasional secara manual, dimana banyak jenis industri-industri lainnya mulai beralih menggunakan model digitalisasi kedalam proses-proses bisnisnya untuk meningkatkan produktifitas dan efisiensi industry tersebut. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengukur efektifitas implementasi digitalisasi panen untuk peningkatan hasil produksi panen di perkebunan kelapa sawit dengan menggunakan pendekatan DMAIC Six Sigma agar dapat mengetahui akar sebab permasalahan dan model digitalisasi yang diterapkan apakah mampu menyelesaikan masalah-masalah tersebut sehingga dapat ikut meningkatkan hasil produksi perkebunan yang menerapkan system digitalisasi tersebut.
