Abstract
The use of motorcycles in Indonesia has increased every year. With the increasing number of motorcycle types in Indonesia, the need for tires for motorcycle types in Indonesia will also increase. Ply (layer) of the tubeless part which is used as the inner layer of the tire is one of the material parts in the construction of motorcycle tires. Non-standard ply width in the production process of making ply will affect productivity in the manufacture of motorcycle tires. The aim of this research is to increase the productivity of ply by standardizing the production of ply width. The research was conducted by modifying the brake system on the pre-assy engine (machine that produces ply). This research was conducted by modifying the mechanical brake system into a dynamic brake system that has been installed on the machine which functions as a brake when the motor stops. The brake system in the pre-assy machine can be modified using a dynamic brake system, where the brake system is changed using brake resistance which is connected to the inverter and sets the percentage of current and working time of this brake. The percent current value is input to the inverter with the address b2-02 and the time is input to b2-04 and the output is a 3-phase induction motor. Keywords: Brake Dinamik, Resistance, Inverter, Motor Induksi 3 fasa Penggunaan sepeda motor di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Dengan semakin meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan jenis sepeda motor di Indonesia, maka kebutuhan ban untuk jenis motorcycle di Indonesia juga akan semakin meningkat. Ply (lapisan) bagian tubeless yang digunakan bsebagai lapisan ban bagian dalam merupakan salah satu bagian matrial pada kontruksi ban motor. Tidak standarnya lebar ply dalam proses produksi pembuatan ply akan mempengaruhi produktivitas pada pembuatan ban jenis motorcycle. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ply dengan cara menstandarkan hasil produksi lebar ply. Penelitian dilakukan dengan modifikasi sistem brake pada mesin pre-assy (mesin yang memproduksi ply). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memodifikasi sistem brake mekanik menjadi sistem brake dinamik yang sudah terpasang pada mesin yang berfungsi sebagai brake saat motor berhenti. Sistem brake di mesin pre-assy dapat dimodifikasi menggunakan sistem brake dinamik, dimana sistem brake diubah menggunakan brake resistance yang di hubungkan ke inverter dan men setting besaran persen arus dan waktu kerja brake ini. Nilai persen arus di input ke inverter dengan alamat b2-02 dan waktu di input ke b2-04 dan output nya berupa motor induksi 3 fasa.
