Abstract

The Meaning of the Emotional Experience of Covid-19 Survivors Lutviatus Sholikah Karisma Riskinanti, M.Psi., Psi Universitas Mercu Buana ABSTRACT This study aims to provide an overview of the meaning of the emotional experience of Covid-19 survivors. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research participants were five people with the criteria for Covid-19 survivors. Data collection using in-depth interviews. Data analysis used interpretive phenomenological analysis. The results showed that the five participants had different responses when tested positive for Covid-19, faced different problems during being a positive Covid19 patient, different psychological impacts, did different stress coping, different responses when declared cured, and the meaning of experience. to different events. However, the five participants had optimism and received support while being positive Covid-19 patients. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitiaf dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah lima orang dengan kriteria penyintas Covid-19. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan analisis fenomenologis interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima partisipan memiliki respon saat dinyatakan positif Covid-19 yang berbeda, menghadapi permasalahan selama menjadi pasien positif Covid-19 yang berbeda, dampak psikologis yang berbeda, melakukan koping stres yang berbeda, respon saat dinyatakan sembuh yang berbeda, dan pemaknaan pengalaman terhadap peristiwa yang di alami yang berbeda. Namun kelima partisipan memiliki optimisme dan mendapatkan dukungan selama menjadi pasien positif Covid-19. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Respon emosional yang dirasakan partisipan saat dinyatakan positif Covid-19 adalah rasa takut dan sedih, strategi koping stres yang digunakan excapeavoidance dan seeking sosial support, perbedaan kondisi karantina dan gejala Covid-19 yang dirasakan mempengaruhi kondisi emosional partisipan, dan adanya trauma mendalam yang dirasakan oleh partisipan MR.
