Abstract
PT Telaga Mas Mulia is a local processor for threading in Indonesia. This study aims to increase the capacity of the coupling pipe by measuring the machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness Method, finding the most influencing factor with the fishbone diagram. OEE is obtained from the calculation of the Availability Rate, Performance Rate, and Quality Rate. The results of the study stated that the OEE value was still below the world-class standard, which was <85% with the difference in OEE of 49.74% being a factor causing the failure to achieve coupling pipe production. The influence factor for the low OEE value is the low performance rate of machine, which is a total average of 42.61% and it is found that there is a low production yield of 552 metric tons with a designed time of 2.5 minutes, product reject and rework of 24 metric tons with a operating time of 8602 minutes and breakdown machine of 460 minutes resulting in losses on the reduced speed losses with a total average of 36.77%. However, this study found that the machine availability rate meets world-class standards of 87.27% a nd the quality rate is 96.39% company can make continuous improvements Key Word : OEE, Oil_Country_Tubular_Goods_Pipa, Coupling_Pipe, Production _Capacity, Machine, Continuous Improvement. PT Telaga Mas Mulia merupakan industri prosessor lokal layanan untuk penguliran (threading) di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan peningkatan kapasitas pipa coupling dengan pengukuran mesin menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness dan menemukan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi dengan diagram fishbone. OEE didapatkan dari perhitungan nilai Availability Rate, Performance Rate, dan Quality Rate. Hasil penelitian menyatakan nilai OEE masih dibawah nilai standar kelas dunia yaitu <85% dengan selisih OEE sebesar 49,74% menjadi faktor penyebab tidak tercapainya kepasitas produksi pipa coupling. Faktor pengaruh rendahnya nilai OEE adalah nilai performance mesin yang rendah yaitu total rata-rata sebesar 42,61% dan ditemukan adanya hasil produksi yang masih rendah yaitu 552 metrik ton dengan waktu yang dirancang adalah 2,5 menit, produk gagal dan produk pengerjaan ulang sebesar 24 metrik ton dengan waktu produksi sebesar 8602 dan mesin gagal beroperasi sebanyak 460 menit akibatnya timbul kerugian pada mesin tidak bekerja optimal dengan total rata-rata 36,77%. Namun demikian pada penelitian ini menemukan bahwa nilai ketersediaan mesin memenuhi standar kelas dunia sebesar 87,27% dan nilai kualitas produk sebesar 96,39% oleh kerena itu perusahaan dapat melakukan perbaikan terus-menerus.
