Abstract

In this study, the coverage performance and signal quality of 4G networks were analyzed in cluster 03 Padang, before optimization and after optimization. The coverage performance seen from the number of optimal RSRP values spread is more than -90 dBm, while the signal quality performance is seen from the optimal spread of SINR values which is more than 8. In addition, throughput parameters (downlink and uplink) are also analyzed to see the effect given by SINR . The optimization method used in this study is the physical tunning method and azimuth change. From the results of the study, it is known that there was an increase in the RSRP value of 8.59%, where the value obtained before optimization was 71.45% and after optimization increased to 80.04%, and for the SINR parameter an increase of 22.25%, where the value obtained before optimization was 57.83%, and after optimization it increased to 80.08%. and the Throughput parameter increases DL by 8.25%, where the value obtained before optimization is 49.96%, and after optimization it increases to 58.21%. And so does the UL Throughput before optimization of 93.89%, and after optimization it is 94.01%. Keywords: 4G, RSRP, SINR, Throughput Noise, Physical Tunning Pada penelitian ini, dianalisi kinerja cakupan dan kualitas sinyal jaringan 4G pada cluster 03 Padang, sebelum optimasi dan setelah optimasi. Kinerja cakupan dilihat dari jumlah penyebaran nilai RSRP optimal yaitu lebih -90 dBm, sedangkan kinerja kualitas sinyal dilihat dari jumlah penyebaran nilai SINR yang optimal yaitu lebih dari 8.selain itu, parameter throughput (downlink maupun uplink) juga dianalisis untuk melihat pengaruh yang diberikan SINR. Metode optimasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode physical tunning dan perubahan azimuth. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwah terjadi peningkatan nilai RSRP sebesar 8,59%, dimana nilai yang didapat sebelum optimasi adalah sebesar 71.45% dan setelah dilakukan optimasi meningkat menjadi 80.04%, dan untuk parameter SINR Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 22,25%, dimana nilai yang didapat sebelum optimasi adalah sebesar 57.83 %, dan setelah dilakukan optimasi meningkat menjadi 80.08%. dan pada parameter Throughput terjadi peningkatan DL sebesar 8,25%, dimana nilai yang didapat sebelum optimasi adalah sebesar 49,96%, dan setelah dilakukan optimasi meningkat menjadi 58,21%. Dan begitu juga dengan Throughput UL sebelum optimasi sebesar 93,89%, dan sesudah optimasi sebesar 94,01%. Kata kunci: 4G, RSRP, SINR, Throughput Noise, Physical Tunning
