Abstract
The development of cities that are so rapid in modernization and industrialization, the density and mobility of the population that is so high in the economic field has made the population's lifestyle more individualistic. We will see in big cities like Jakarta, most city people prefer to live individually. They assume that the interests of his life are far more important than the public interest. The quantitative research method is used if the researcher needs a large population or sample as the object of research, then the sample in the study can represent the entire population of the object of the study, and the variables were chosen before the study began, and did not change during the study. The results of data collection and the results of the analysis carried out by researchers, obtained several conclusions in the form of views of 6 factors studied in this research, the response of visitors showed good and very good categories of all factors of FHH that were related to social interaction among communities around RTP. So that it can be said that Public Open Space has an influence on the Social Interaction of the Community. Keywords: Public Open Space, Social Interaction, and Community Perception Perkembangan kota–kota yang begitu pesat dalam modernisasi dan industrialisasi, kepadatan dan mobilitas penduduknya yang begitu tinggi dalam bidang ekonomi menyebabkan gaya hidup penduduknya lebih individualistis. Kita lihat saja di kota besar seperti Jakarta, kebanyakan masyarakat kota lebih memilih hidup secara individualisme. Mereka beranggapan bahwa kepentingan hidupnya jauh lebih penting dari kepentingan umum. Adapun metode penelitian kuantitatif digunakan apabila peneliti membutuhkan populasi atau sampel yang banyak sebagai objek penelitian, kemudian sampel dalam penelitian dapat mewakili seluruh populasi dari objek penelitian tersebut, serta variabel dipilih sebelum penelitian dimulai, dan tidak berubah selama penelitian berjalan. Hasil pengumpulan data dan hasil analisa yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, di dapat beberapa kesimpulan berupa dilihat dari 6 faktor yang dikaji dalam penellitian ini, respon pengunjung menunjukan kategori baik dan sangat baik terhadap seluruh faktor RTP yang memiliki kaitan dengan interaksi sosial diantara masyarakat sekitar RTP. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Ruang Terbuka Publik memiliki pengaruh terhadap Interaksi Sosial Masyarakatnya. Kata Kunci : Ruang Terbuka Publik, Interaksi Sosial, dan Persepsi Masyarakat
