Abstract

ABSTRAK iv Gudang spare part merupakan tempat yang biasa dimiliki oleh perusahaan dan digunakan untuk menyimpan spare part. Dalam gudang spare part terdapat banyak aktivitas yang dilakukan, seperti proses pendataan keluar masuknya spare part hingga proses manajemen terhadap spare part yang tersedia di dalam gudang spare part. Perusahaan manufaktur farmasi tempat di mana penelitian ini dilakukan juga memiliki gudang spare part untuk menyimpan spare part yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan. Perusahaan ini memproduksi obat-obatan jenis ethical dan juga produk obat-obatan untuk jenis over the counter (OTC), obat-obatan kapsul lunak, sirup, bubuk sferet effervescent, tablet, dan kapsul keras. Spare part memegang peranan penting dalam menjaga kelancaran produksi obat-obatan. Namun lamanya waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam pencarian spare part menyebabkan munculnya kendala dalam proses produksi. Lama waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam pencarian spare part sebelum perbaikan yaitu 13.73 menit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempercepat waktu pencarian spare part. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penulis menerapkan metode klasifikasi ABC dan 5S. Setelah perbaikan dengan implementasi metode klasifikasi ABC dan 5S terjadi peningkatan efisiensi waktu proses pencarian spare part sebesar 71% yang awalnya membutuhkan waktu 13.73 menit menjadi 3.96 menit. In the warehouse of spare part has many activities, just like collecting in and out data of spare part until the management of spare part that is available in the warehouse of spare part. The pharmachy manufacture company where this research be done also has warehouse of spare part to store the company spare part. This company produce the ethical drugs and also the over the counter (OTC) drugs, like soft capsule, syrup, sferet effervescent powder, tablets, and hard capsule. Spare part is an important role to keep the drugs producing be on time. Otherside, the long time to find spare part cause problems in producing. Time that is needed in finding spare part before repairment is 13.73 minutes. The purpose of this research is to speed up in finding spare part. To reach that purpose, writer use ABC classification method and also 5S. After repairing with implementation of ABC classification method and also 5S makes better time in finding spare part that more efficient 71%.
