Abstract

ABSTRAK Untuk menghasilkan produk dengan kualitas yang baik pad era globalisasi saat ini, sebuah industri dituntut untuk memberikan produk yang bagus dan sesuai dengan spesifikasi. PT. MMKI merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak pada bidang otomotif di Indonesia dimana perusahaan tersebut memproduksi berbagai model mobil. Masalah defect sagging yang terjadi terdiri dari kap mesin / hood (HD): 11,5%, pintu depan / front door (DF) L: 19,2% R: 20,5% , pintu belakang / rear door (DR) L: 17,3% R: 16,1% dan pintu bagasi / tailgate (TG): 15,4%. Akar masalah yang terjadi dan perbaikannya pada produk tersebut dengan menggunakan beberapa tools mulai dari faktor manusia yang kurang memahami SOP sehingga pemberian pelatihan bagi karyawan , faktor material yang menurun dan tidak menggunakan sistem FIFO dengan konsisten dengan suhu ruangan yang berubah-ubah sehingga pembuatan ruangan pendingin dan mengatur suhu tetap konstan, faktor mesin karena tekanan angina yang tidak stabil penanggulangannya dengan penambahan tanki tekanan angin dan faktor metode karena pemasangan part yang kurang merata sehingga dibuatkan penambahan guide untuk mempermudah pemasangan part. PT. MMKI is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the automotive sector in Indonesia where the company produces various car models. The defect sagging problem that occurs consists of the hood / hood (HD): 11.5%, front door / front door (DF) L: 19.2% R: 20.5% , rear door (DR) L : 17.3% R: 16.1% and the tailgate (TG): 15.4%. The root of the problem that occurs and its improvement in the product by using several tools ranging from the human factor who does not understand the SOP so that the provision of training for employees, material factors that decrease and do not use the FIFO system consistently with changing room temperatures so that the manufacture of cooling rooms and set the temperature to remain constant, the engine factor due to unstable wind pressure is overcome by adding a wind pressure tank and the method factor due to the uneven installation of parts so that additional guides are made to facilitate the installation of parts.
