Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan manufaktur makanan ini merupakan suatu perusahaan yang memproduksi pembuatan flexible packaging. Berdasarkan data di lapangan yang saya peroleh dari laporan produksi di bulan Januari-Juni pada saat proses produksi slitting di mesin slitter terdapat downtime yang sering terjadi di tiap bulannya dengan rata-rata downtime yaitu 426 menit. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut salah satu strategi untuk meminimalisir downtime adalah dengan menerapkan Quality control circle (QCC) dan seven tools dibantu dengan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Dari analisa menggunakan metode Quality Control Circle (QCC) dan seven tools didapatkan saah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tingginya downtime yaitu faktor machine, dimana lubang pipa pembuangan trime edge (TE) terlalu jauh sehingga ketika TE tidak stabil TE melilit ke bearing roll. Untuk mengurangi downtime mesin slitter dengan menambahkan pipa untuk mendekatkan lubang pembuangan TE agar penghisapan TE lebih optimal. Sehingga downtime roll TE macet/ bearing rusak menurun menjadi 0% dari total downtime sebelum improvement. Hasil perhitungan OEE juga meningkat dari sebelumnya yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai 97,40% di bandingkan sebelum improvement yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai 96,86%. Based on the data in the field that I got from the production report in January-June, during the slitting production process in the slitter machine, there is a downtime that often occurs every month with an average downtime of 426 minutes. Based on these conditions, one strategy to minimize downtime is to implement the QCC and seven tools assisted by the calculation of OEE. From the analysis using the QCC method and seven tools, it is found that one factor affects the high downtime, namely the machine factor, where the TE exhaust pipe hole is too far away so that when the TE is unstable the TE is wrapped around the bearing roll. To reduce the downtime of the slitter machine by adding a pipe to close the TE drain hole for optimal TE suction. So that the downtime of the TE roll stuck / damaged bearing decreased to 0% of the total downtime before improvement. The results of the OEE calculation also increased from the previous one with an average value of 97.40% compared to before the improvement, namely with an average value of 96.86%.
