Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. JKL merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang pangan yang memproduksi kopi bubuk kemasan sachet. Pada mesin Filling Line 3 seringkali mengalami kerusakan yang ditimbulkan oleh kerusakan mesin, sehingga target produksi harian tidak tercapai. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui nilai kinerja pada mesin Filling dan mengetahui faktor penyebab kerugian pada mesin tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengukuran kinerja mesin (OEE) terdiri dari 3 faktor, Availability, Performance, dan Quality. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari nilai OEE periode Desember 2021 (53,4%), Januari 2022 (60,6%), Februari 2022 (61%), dan Maret 2022 (63,3%). Nilai OEE yang didapat dari perhitungan masih terlampau jauh dari standar (85%). Adapun faktor pada analisis Six Big Losses yang menyebabkan rendahnya nilai OEE terdiri dari faktor Equipment Failure (52,7%), dan Setup & Adjustment (30,7%). Adapun usulan perbaikan yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan nilai efektivitas pada mesin tersebut diantaranya adalah perusahaan harus melakukan training terhadap para karyawan yang menggunakan mesin Filling jika terjadi kondisi abnormal, serta melakukan penambahan operator maintenance agar jika terjadi kerusakan tidak harus menunggu operator maintenance lain untuk perbaikan. Pembuatan SOP untuk pekerja juga harus diperhatikan karena SOP wajib ada diperusahaan. Perusahaan juga harus melakukan monitoring terhadap komponen mesin agar pengiriman komponen dapat terjadwal dengan baik. JKL is a company engaged in the food sector that produces powdered coffee in sachets. The Filling Line 3 machine often experiences damage caused by machine damage, so that the daily production target is not achieved. The purpose of the study was to determine the performance value of the Filling machine and to determine the factors that caused the loss of the machine. The method used is the machine performance measurement (OEE) method consisting of 3 factors, Availability, Performance, and Quality. The results obtained from the OEE values for the period December 2021 (53.4%), January 2022 (60.6%), February 2022 (61%), and March 2022 (63.3%). The OEE value obtained from the calculation is still too far from the standard (85%). The factors in the Six Big Losses analysis that caused the low OEE value consisted of Equipment Failure (52.7%), and Setup & Adjustment (30.7%) factors. The proposed improvements that can be used to increase the effectiveness of the machine include the company must conduct training for employees who use filling machines in case of abnormal conditions, as well as add maintenance operators so that if there is damage they do not have to wait for other maintenance operators to make repairs. The preparation of SOPs for workers must also be considered because SOPs are mandatory for the company. The company must also monitor machine components so that the delivery of components can be properly scheduled.
