Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. TACI merupakan perusahaan yang tergabung dalam Denso Group dan Toyota Industries Corporation dibawah naungan Astra Internasional yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur dengan produk kompresor AC mobil. Sebagai salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi kompresor AC mobil terbaik di dunia, PT. TACI selalu melakukan kaizen untuk menjaga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Pada PT TACI diarea stator pada proses kerja terminal assy didapatkan angka kesalahan pemasangan jig selama Tahun 2021 sebanyak 324 kali, dan sering terjadi pengeluaran biaya yang berulang setiap adanya produk model baru dimana biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk pembelian jig dalam kurun waktu satu tahun pada Tahun 2021 sebesar 300 juta rupiah. Metode DMAIC merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai upaya melakukan siklus perbaikan secara terus menerus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghilangkan angka kesalahan pemasangan jig diarea stator pada proses kerja terminal assy dan juga mengurangi pengeluaran biaya pembelian jig setiap adanya produk model baru dengan menggunakan metode DMAIC. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya kesalahan pemasangan jig yaitu karena pemasangan jig tidak sesuai dan tidak dilakukan sesuai SOP, selain itu implementasi perbaikan menghasilkan menurunnya angka kesalahan pemasangan jig dan dapat melakukan pengurangan biaya untuk pembelian jig baru sebanyak 20 juta rupiah permodel. TACI is a company that is part of the Denso Group and Toyota Industries Corporation under the auspices of Astra International, which is engaged in manufacturing car AC compressor products. As one of the companies that produce the best car AC compressors in the world, PT. TACI always does kaizen to maintain the quality of the products it produces. At PT TACI in the stator area in the terminal assy work process, the number of jig installation errors during 2021 was 324 times, and there were frequent recurring expenses for every new product model where the costs incurred for purchasing jigs within a year in 2021 amounted to 300 million rupiah. The DMAIC method is the method used in this study as an effort to carry out a continuous improvement cycle. The purpose of this study is to eliminate the number of jig installation errors in the stator area in the terminal assembly work process and reduce the cost of purchasing jigs every time there is a new model product using the DMAIC method. The results of the research carried out were to find out the factors that caused the jig installation error, namely because the jig installation was not appropriate and was not carried out according to the SOP, besides that the implementation of improvements resulted in a decrease in the number of jig installation errors and could reduce costs for purchasing new jigs as much as 20 million rupiah per model.
