Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of liquidity, profitability and leverage on dividend policy. The independent variables used are liquidity (CR), profitability (ROA) and leverage (DER). The dependent variable used is dividend policy (DPR). The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the various industrial sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2012-2017 period as many as 44 companies. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling method. A total of 5 companies were determined as the sample. The results of this study indicate that liquidity (CR) has a significant positive effect on dividend policy. Profitability (ROA) has no effect on dividend policy. And leverage (DER) does not affect dividend policy. The result of the determination coefficient shows 58%. These results indicate the ability of independent liquidity variables (CR), profitability (ROA) and leverage (DER) in explaining the dependent variables while the remaining 42% are explained by other variables. Keywords: Dividend, Liquidity, Profitability, Leverage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris tentang pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas dan leverage terhadap kebijakan dividen. Variabel independen yang digunakan adalah likuiditas (CR), profitabilitas (ROA) dan leverage (DER). Variabel Dependen yang digunakan adalah kebijakan dividen (DPR). Populasi dalam penelitian adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor aneka industri yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2012-2017 sebanyak 44 perusahaan. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Total 5 perusahaan ditentukan sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas (CR) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Profitabilitas (ROA) tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen. Serta leverage (DER) tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan sebesar 58%. Hasil tersebut menandakan kemampuan variabel independen likuiditas (CR), profitabilitas (ROA) dan leverage (DER) dalam menjelaskan variabel dependen sementara 42% sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain.
