Abstract

ABSTRAK Obyek studi adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang berlokasi di Cikarang, yang memproduksi kerangka panel listrik berbahan sheet metal. Selama proses produksinya, ditemukan beberapa cacat kualitas seperti part yang penyok dan springback. Part penyok adalah jenis cacat yang paling tinggi dalam kurun waktu enam bulan terakhir, terhitung dari bulan Agustus 2021 sampai bulan Januari 2022. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada permasalahan jenis cacat part penyok karena merupakan cacat dominan dari semua jenis kecacatan, dan diteliti dengan menggunakan metode DMAIC. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan adalah membuat alat bantu mobilisasi Trolley Rak, yang bertujuan untuk menurunkan jumlah cacat dan meningkatkan produktivitas pada produk kerangka panel listrik. Hasil dari penerapan perbaikan dengan menggunakan metode DMAIC dan penerapan alat bantu mobilisaisi Trolley Rak berpotensi menurunkan cacat part penyok, dari ratarata 7,5% menjadi 0,5% dan kenaikan nilai sigma dari 3,3 menjadi 4,3. During the production process, there were several quality defects such as dented parts and springbacks. Dent part is the highest type of defect in the last six months, starting from August 2021 to January 2022. This study focuses on the problem of the type of defect in the dented part because it is the dominant defect of all types of defects. To overcome the problems that occur, the DMAIC method is used. The suggestion for improvement after conducting research is to make a Trolley Rack mobilization tool that aims to reduce the number of defects and increase productivity in electrical panel frame products. The results of the implementation of repairs using the DMAIC method and the application of the Trolley Rack mobilization tool, there is the potential for a reduction in dented part defects from the previous average of 7,5% to 0,5% and an increase in the sigma value from the previous 3 to 4.
