Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang sedang terjadi pada PT TIA adalah tingginya kecacatan produk Tablet Effervescent. Hasil produksi Maret 2021 - Februari 2022 menunjukan rata-rata persentase produk cacat tablet effervescent setiap bulan sebesar 11.24% yang melebihi batas toleransi yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan yaitu maksimum 10%. Dimana cacat produk berfluktuatif setiap bulannya. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut digunakan metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC) dan Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). SQC digunakan untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas dan mencari penyebab kecacatan produk menggunakan stratifikasi, histogram, check sheet, pareto diagram, diagram sebar, peta kontrol dan cause and effect diagram. Setelah melakukan analisa menggunakan SQC, ditemukan cacat yang paling dominan adalah cacat cracking sebesar 25.83 %. Faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah faktor material disebabkan oleh bahan baku yang digunakan lembab, faktor mesin, faktor metode, faktor manusia, faktor lingkungan. Dari lima faktor tersebut, faktor mesin dan material menjadi faktor yang paling dominan. Penerapan FMEA adalah untuk membantu menentukan nilai risk priority number dari kegagalan yang terjadi. Risiko kegagalan dengan RPN tertinggi sebesar 392 yaitu tekanan mesin tidak sesuai dan sebesar 252 untuk bahan baku yang lembab. Tindakan perbaikan yang diambil adalah Pembuatan dan pendokumentasian jadwal kalibrasi dan Pembuatan SOP pengecekan kadar air untuk bahan baku dalam pengujian internal departement QC. The production results from March 2021 - February 2022 show that the average percentage of defective effervescent tablet products every month is 11.24% which exceeds the tolerance limit set by the company, which is a maximum of 10%. Where product defects fluctuate every month. To solve this problem, Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) methods are used. SQC is used to analyze quality control and look for causes of product defects using stratification, histograms, check sheets, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, control maps and cause and effect diagrams. After analyzing using SQC, it was found that the most dominant defect was cracking at 25.83%. The influencing factor is the material factor caused by the raw material used is damp, the machine factor, the method factor, the human factor, and the environmental factor. Of the five factors, the machine and material factors are the most dominant factors. The application of FMEA is to help determine the value of the risk priority number of failures that occur. The risk of failure with the highest RPN is 392, namely the engine pressure is not suitable and 252 for moist raw materials. The corrective action taken is the manufacture and documentation of the calibration schedule and the making of SOPs for checking water content for raw materials in the internal testing of the QC department.
