Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengendalian kualitas adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk menjamin agar kegiatan produksi dan operasi yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan apa yang direncanakan dan apabila terjadi penyimpangan maka penyimpangan tersebut dapat dikoreksi sehingga apa yang diharapkan dapat tercapai. Perusahaan harus mampu meningkatkan kualitas produk atau jasanya untuk mempertahankan kepercayaan pelanggan, walaupun pada kenyataannya selalu ada kualitas produk atau jasa yang tidak sesuai dengan standard yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan atau dengan kata lain produk tersebut mengalami defect. Penelitian ini berlangsung di PT. Padma Soode Indonesia, spesifik memperbaiki kualitas produk Anti Static Plate Cis menggunakan metode PDCA. Dari tiga defect yang terjadi pada produk Anti Static Plate Cis, yang memiliki presentase defect produk terbesar adalah penyok dengan presentase 57,2% dari keseluruhan total defect produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan Tools Check Sheet, Histogram, Diagram Pareto, Diagram Sebab Akibat, 5W+1H. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa defect yang terjadi disebabkan oleh faktor Man, Machine, Method, dan Material. Implementasi yang diusulkan & dilakukan untuk mengatasi defect penyok meliputi pembuatan SOP, training operator, perawatan mesin, pengecekan tools, pemilihan material. Dengan implementasi perbaikan tersebut dapat menurunkan defect menjadi 46,88%. Companies must be able to improve the quality of their products or services to maintain customer trust, even though in reality there is always a quality product or service that is not in accordance with the standards set by the company or in other words the product has a defect. This research took place at PT. Padma Soode Indonesia, specifically to improve the quality of Anti Static Plate Cis products using the PDCA method. Of the three defects that occurred in the Anti Static Plate Cis product , the one with the largest percentage of product defects was dents with a percentage of 57.2% of the total product defects . This research uses Check Sheet Tools, Histogram, Pareto Diagram, Cause and Effect Diagram, 5W+1H. The results of the research conducted indicate that the defects that occur are caused by the Man, Machine, Method, and Material factors. The proposed implementations to overcome dent defects include making SOPs, operator training, machine maintenance, checking tools, selecting materials.
