Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan industri menuntut untuk selalu meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi produksi guna menekan biaya produksi dan meningkatkan profitabilitas. Tidak terkecuali PT. Muliaglass Float Division 3. Dalam penelitian terhadap data produksi tahun 2021, terdapat masalah efisiensi produksi yang tidak mencapai target. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa penyebab inefisiensi produksi agar mendapat solusi meningkatkan efisiensi produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab inefisiensi produksi dan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengetahui akar penyebabnya. Dari hasil analisa FTA dan FMEA terdapat empat penyebab inefisiensi produksi berikut akar penyebab yang memiliki nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) tertinggi yaitu Defect Inclusion yaitu tidak dilakukan penyaringan bahan baku (RPN 180), Defect Bubble yaitu temperatur pembakaran terlalu rendah (RPN 48), Trimcut yaitu keterlambatan operator mengganti pisau cutter (RPN 175) dan proses Packing yaitu operator terburu-buru dalam bekerja (RPN 280). Dari analisa tersebut kemudian dilakukan diskusi bersama pimpinan kerja untuk menentukan usulan perbaikan guna meningkatkan efisiensi produksi diantaranya melakukan penyaringan terhadap bahan baku sebelum ke proses mixing, melakukan pengecekan suhu pembakaran secara berkala, melakukan pengecekan rutin dan memperhatikan masa produktif pisau cutter dan melakukan training kedisiplinan dan keterampilan operator dalam bekerja. From the results of the FTA and FMEA analysis, there are four causes of production inefficiency along with the root causes that have the highest RPN (Risk Priority Number) value, namely Defect Inclusion, which is not filtering raw materials (RPN 180), Defect Bubble, namely the combustion temperature is too low (RPN 48), Trimcut is the operator delay in changing the cutter blade (RPN 175) and the Packing process is the operator rushing to work (RPN 280). From this analysis, a discussion was carried out with the work leader to determine proposed improvements to improve production efficiency, including screening of raw materials before going to the mixing process, checking the combustion temperature periodically, conducting routine checks and paying attention to the productive period of the cutter blade and conducting disciplinary and skill training operators at work..
