Abstract

ABSTRAK iv Reject produksi adalah reject yang terjadi karena diakibatkan oleh proses produksi, reject jenis inilah yang bisa menjadi penyebab berkurangnya keuntungan perusahaan. Kualitas barang sangat mempengaruhi penilaian konsumen terhadap perusahaan, Maka perusahaan selalu berusaha untuk melakukan kegiatan pengendalian kualitas. Pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan adalah mulai dari diterimanya bahan baku, saat proses produksi berlangsung, dan saat pengecekan produk sebelum dikirim ke pelanggan atau customer. Setelah dilakukan serangkaian analisa menunjukan, pada periode bulan Oktober 2020 sampai Maret 2021 diketahui bahwa pada produk WEJ 5531 terdapat Defect dengan rata-rata 6% pada setiap bulannya, sedangkan batas maksimal Defect yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan adalah 1% pada setiap bulannya. Oleh karena itu, akan dilakukan analisa pengendalian kualitas dengan menggunakan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan defect pada produk WEJ 5531 dan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk menurunkan angka defect setiap bulannya. Kemudian dari hasil analisa diketahui bahwa proses Assembly WEJ 5531 belum terkendali secara statistic. Diketahui juga Defect yang tertinggi adalah L 83 penyok, dimana defect tersebut memiliki 6 potential cause of failure yang akan ditanggulangi dengan beberapa usulan perbaikan yang diberikan sesuai dengan potensi penyebab terjadinya defect.
