Abstract

Badminton is a sport that is very popular in Indonesia. In almost every match in any place or country, there must be Indonesian supporters who support the country playing. The popularity of badminton in Indonesia cannot be separated from Indonesia's badminton achievements at the international level. This proud achievement cannot be separated from the results of the efforts from the athletes who succeeded in making the name of the Indonesian people proud. We need to give an appreciation for these athletes. Many ways to do this. One way is to make action figures for these athletes. The choice of action figure products is due to people's interest in toys, especially action figures that are on the rise. It can be seen from the many toy exhibitions and exhibitions organized by local toy artists and by toy communities. Keyword: Action Figure, Badminton, Athlete, DIY Bulutangkis merupakan olahraga yang sangat populer di Indonesia. Hampir di setiap pertandingan dimana pun tempat atau negara penyelenggaranya pasti ada saja pendukung Indonesia yang mendukung negaranya bermain. Kepopuleran bulutangkis di Indonesia tidak dapat dipisahkan dari prestasi bulutangkis Indonesia di level internasional. Prestasi yang membanggakan tersebut tidak lepas dari hasil jerih payah para atlet yang berhasil mengharumkan nama bangsa Indonesia. Kita perlu memberikan sebuah apresiasi dan penghargaan untuk para atlet tersebut. Banyak cara untuk melakukan hal tersebut. Salah satunya adalah dengan membuatkan action figure untuk para atlet tersebut. Pemilihan produk action figure dikarenakan minat masyarakat terhadap mainan khususnya action figure sedang meningkat. Bisa dilihat dari banyaknya pameran dan exhibition mainan yang diselenggarakan oleh toys artist lokal maupun oleh komunitas-komunitas mainan. Kata Kunci: Action Figure, Bulutangkis, Atlet, DIY
