Abstract

Currently, some working parents prefer to leave their children in daycare. Daycare is a social institution that aims to prioritize the welfare of children through social activities, caring for, nurturing and providing education for children and of course safe and comfortable. However, currently there is a Covid-19 virus phenomenon in the world, including the city of Jakarta where many people are positively affected by the Covid-19 virus disease. In fact, to encourage children's learning process to be good is to have good environmental conditions. To minimize the Covid-19 virus is to do greening for the environment in the room. Indoor plants can help rid the air of common toxins. This is a consideration in designing Star Child daycare with a natural concept approach, the natural concept applied will create a characteristic with a natural atmosphere. In addition, the combination with contemporary style will also create the impression that the room looks modern. The materials used need to be considered carefully so that the natural concept is conveyed to users, not forgetting to also pay attention to the safety of materials for children, so that children's health is guaranteed to be maintained. Keywords: Nature, Modern, Contemporary, kids friendly Saat ini sebagian orang tua pekerja lebih memilih menitipkan anak-anaknya di tempat daycare. Daycare adalah lembaga sosial yang bertujuan mementingkan kesejahteraan anak melalui aktivitas sosial, merawat, mengasuh serta memberikan pendidikan anak dan tentunya aman dan nyaman. Namun saat ini terjadi fenomena Virus penyakit Covid-19 di Dunia. Padahal untuk mendorong proses belajar anak menjadi baik adalah dengan kondisi lingkungan yang baik. Untuk meminimalisirkan virus Covid-19 adalah dengan melakukan penghijauan bagi lingkungan didalam ruang. Tanaman dalam ruangan dapat membantu menghilangkan udara dari racun umum. Hal ini menjadi pertimbangan dalam mendesain daycare Star Child dengan pendekatan konsep natural, konsep natural yang diterapkan akan menciptakan ciri khas dengan suasana alam. Selain itu, perpaduan dengan gaya kontemporer juga akan menciptakan kesan ruangan terlihat modern. Material yang digunakan perlu diperhatikan dengan baik agar tersampaikannya konsep natural kepada pengguna, tidak lupa juga memperhatikan keamanan material untuk anak, agar kesehatan anak terjamin terjaga.
