Abstract

The goal of this study is to identify breakdown that have an impact on the gas turbine engine's RAM and Six Sigma value in order to assess how well the gas turbine engine performance through the value of RAM (availability, performance, and quality) and Six Sigma. By gathering, compiling, categorizing, and conducting an analysis of data and information on the utilization of gas turbine engines, the descriptive analysis method is used to reveal the availability and performance of gas turbine engines based on actual data and information. The findings of the RAM and Six Sigma value are examined utilizing the Pareto chart to identify the most impacted breakdown, the Fishbone diagram for root cause analysis, and the five why analysis approach for improvement suggestions. According to research findings, control system failure, VGV system failure, and load distribution problem have an impact on the RAM and Six Sigma value of two gas turbines. The Root cause of the issue is due to a number of factors, including mostly due to technical issues of unreliable old control system and VGV system design, an incorrect maintenance schedule implementation, an incompetent and ignorant of operator or technician to gas turbine engines. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi breakdown yang berdampak pada nilai RAM dan Six Sigma pada mesin turbin gas untuk menilai seberapa baik kinerja mesin turbin gas melalui nilai RAM (availability, performance, and quality) dan Six Sigma. Dengan mengumpulkan, menyusun, mengkategorikan, dan melakukan analisis data dan informasi tentang utilitas mesin turbin gas, metode analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengungkapkan availability dan performa mesin turbin gas berdasarkan data dan informasi yang sebenarnya. Temuan nilai RAM dan Six Sigma dievaluasi menggunakan bagan Pareto untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan yang paling sering terjadi dan besar dampaknya, diagram Fishbone untuk analisis akar penyebab permasalahan, dan pendekatan 5 why analysis untuk perbaikan saran. Menurut hasil penelitian, kegagalan sistem kontrol, kegagalan sistem VGV, dan masalah distribusi beban berdampak pada nilai RAM dan Six Sigma dari dua turbin gas. Akar penyebab masalah ini disebabkan oleh sejumlah faktor, termasuk sebagian besar karena masalah teknis sistem kontrol lama dan sistem VGV dari mesin Turbin gas yang memiliki keandalan rendah dan desain sistem belum optimal, penerapan jadwal perawatan yang tidak tepat, operator dan teknisi yang kurang kompeten dan ceroboh terhadap mesin turbin gas.
